I stood on the rooftop of the tallest bulding in the city, i looked down and saw all the activity happening below. Passing cars, couples holding hands, kids with their parents, people taking picture, you looked out and saw all the lights lithing up the city "it's so peacful" you whisper to yourself when a single tear falling down your cheek. You stood at the edge of the bulding, you picked up your phone and send a text to your parents "i'm going to be at (your best friend's name) house for a while, i love you guys, see you soon." you send the text before you put your phone back in your pocket and started to think of your life so far, your phone started to ringing in your pocket, it was you Thomas your boyfriend, you looked at it confused, you had already sent him a goodnight text. You took a deep breath before answering the phone
"hey tommy" you said "hey love, where are you right now?" a tear dropped from your eye again as you realized this would be the last conversation you ever had with him "i'm at home laying in bed, i'm about to go to sleep, i love you so much and i'm sorry for every fight and argument we have had in the past, you deserve to be happy" "you make me happy darling, i'm the luckiest man in the world, begin able to call you my girlfriend, i can't wait for our future together" you started crying knowing that none of it would be true "i planned a trip for us to the beach next week" he said "aww that's so sweet.....but you should get your money back while you still can tommy" you told him "no" he said before it was quiet for a full minute "i'm getting really tired, i love you so much, goodnight" "wait" he said "yeah?" "I bought you a gift, i want to give it to you tomorrow" you smiled "you didn't have to, return it babe, i don't need it" you hung up and placed your phone on the ground before you closed your eyes "i guess this is it..."
