After i took a bath, i decided to order chinese food. Once it arrived, i ate before i started to clean the house. I were on the edge and sleep wasn't possible at the moment. I swept and vaccumed the house, did the dishes, cleaned the bathrooms and changed the sweet on the bed. Once i were done, i sat on the couch in the living room and put on my favorite
tv-show, i checked my phone and saw that it was already 2am, Newt had been gone for hours and i were starting to get a little worried. I heard a key enter the lock and it startled me.
Newt entered and closed the door behind him "i'm sorry love, didn't mean to scare you" i ran up to him and wrapped my arms around him "i was so worried about you" he chuckled and hugger me back.
I pulled back and looked at him, he smiled down at me "what?" he asked when i didn't stop staring at him "where were you?" he chuckled again and removed his arms from around me, holding up envelopes. I took then from him "what are these?" i asked looking at them.
There were 6 "they are confessions, don't open them" he said "confessions?" i asked, giving him a confused look.
"your ex.....his friends......confession letters that i'm going to bring to the police" my eye widen "they're real? like they actually wrote these?" he nodded.
"how did you get them to?" he looked down, followed on his eyes that landed on his hands "oh my god! your fists, they're bleeding!" i dropped the confessions to the floor and pulled him into the kitchen by the sink, he jumped up on the counter.
I carefully cleaned the cuts while he watched me "it dosen't even hurt, you're so cute when you're worried about me" i blushed "now is not the time" i whispered, finishing up and drying his hands.
"they're turning themselves in" he whispered "later today, i just got the letters incase they chickened out"
I looked up at him "really?" he placed his hand on the side of my face "yes really Y/n, they're going to jail and by the time they get out, we'll be far far away from this place"
I felt myself tear up and he pulled me close to him "i doubt that your ex will be free again.....since he killed you baby, that's murd€r" i rested my head on his chest and silently cried. He rubbed up and down my back "i'm so happy, no girls will have to go through what i went through with them" i said and he kissed the top of my head "thanks to you darling, you are a hero and you are so strong for enduring what you went through, i'm so proud of you and i'm glad you opened up, you own my heart and you will forever."
Time skip
I were sitting down on the couch watching the evening news with Newt like we usually did. After he returned home i slept in his arms, i didn't go to work and neither did he, we just spent the day together "breaking news, 6 men turned themselves in earlier this morning to the police, the names and faces of these men can not be disclosed until trial. Assault, r@pe and murd€r were all mentioned in their confessions, if this is true i'm glad they stepped up and did the right thing" my mouth dropped open and i looked at Newt who was already smiling at me.
"see i told-" i wrapped my arms around his shoulders and he fell backwards to where he was laying flat on the couch "thank you" i whispered over and over again "mhm" he kept saying while hugging me back.
He reached for the tv remote and muted it "there's actually something i wanted to talk to you about Y/n" i got off him and he sat up "what?" i asked looking at him "i got a job offer, it's about a three hour drive from here and guess Where it is?" my mouth dropped open "t-the moutains, the moutains are three hours north" he nodded his head and i immediately broke down, crying.
