Epilogue

Joilene's POV

"Stop it!" I shouted frustratingly while running after my two eleven years old niece and nephew. They were still undress though their mother's death anniversary will be in a few minutes.

"Okay! Enough—will you stop running? Your all getting sweaty again" I shouted but they continue laughing while running after each other.

"I had enough. I'm calling you dad" I said then I turned my heel to call D.O but then I heard their faint gasp. I smile wickedly.

After their mother died, D.O is more uptight to his kids. Not that he scolds them from time to time but he had security following his kids wherever they will go.

And me, I was just carrying my first unborn child for a month. It's been a year since everything happen. Yet the issue about my sister's death is still sensitive to me then my situation right now added it.

I have to cry every night then Luhan will have sleepless nights hearing my sob. There are times that Luhan had cried with me. He told me how Yvette was when I was away then when I took her baby.

After all, she's Yvette and her story will be passed generation by generation. No one will ever forget how she saves our planet from Rain and even me and Tricia.

How her bravery was exposed and the powers she posses that no one will every defeated her. She is the first ever immortal. Age can't even kill her. No one. Not ever.

But behind that name was a broken girl who chooses to sacrifice herself for the good of all. Just like the story of Beowulf. No matter how strong you can be even age can't defeat you you have to die. That's how the balance works.

Eunhyuk studies her case for a year. At first he got no clues but then we find out that when that day passed and she isn't dead yet, twenty wolves will die in their sleeps. Every year she celebrates her birthday a thousand of human will die unknowingly and a hundred of wolves. Just to keep the balance.

It means when we keep her alive more death will cause because her soul meant something for the heavens.

"Are they ready?" Luhan ask me as he assisted me walking down the stairs.

"They'll be there in a second." I told him then we both chuckle. Everyone uses that trick when the twins won't listen.

As we head at the garden, exclusive people were invited to attend the celebration more like mourning.

We were all wearing black leatherette long robes and black clothes inside. We wear these traditional robes for the royalties' death anniversary.

I hugged with my sister, Tricia as I saw her immediately. I also hugged Lay 'cuz it's been a while since we didn't see each other. I ruffle my three nephews and niece while they gave me a peck each.

"How are you doing?" she ask me as we walk together leaving Luhan with Lay.

"It's not easy but I'm trying. How about you?" I ask her then A small panel and a mic stand I saw from the garden and about fifty chairs.

"Same here. I'm glad I have Lay. We cried together" she laugh then I hugged her by her side.

"Same goes with Luhan" I added then we laugh together.

"There he is" Tricia said as we both look at the person who had been the most hurt after everything.

D.O is looking at the pond full of orange Kio. He was staring at it blankly like he was thinking very deep. He was holding a letter. We startled when the twins run between me and Tricia.
