Joilene's POV

They all run out of my sister's room as soon as they received the news. I remained calm as I can but I can't. I'm suppose to run together with them but Minho stopped me.

"Tricia needs you here" he told me and left me standing outside of the door.

I close the two doors and lock it up. I run at the window to see the glimpse of the battle. There are many citizens running and most of the houses are on fire.

I can see some of the VIPs and black jacks all around the battlefield. I wander my eyes to find the boys and the guardian but I didn't saw a glimpse of them. There were also travelers fighting against the VIPs and finally I spotted Yvonne.

She's just fighting with a sword and she do fight bravely. I have the urge to go down and help but Minho is right I can't leave my sister here. My hands are trembling in nervousness.

I start panicking walking back and forth in my sister's room. I start biting my nails and my palms are sweating. I covered my eyes as I heard another howl of a wolf.

I can't do this. I went near to my sister and start shaking her. I can't do a spell. I can't make a potion right now to wake her up but I immediately close every window where someone can possibly enter.

I made a force field and it wasn't just like an ordinary force field that can be broken. It's more special than the force field that Tricia can provide. It's only I who can break the force field with the reverse spell. I'm also the only one who can enter.

It takes me a while to concentrate. I started to build the force field and I became weaker and weaker every time the force field is finished.

I run outside and I can't spot anyone in the kingdom. I run outside and I stop from my track. Lay is healing people everywhere. Tao is standing in front of the tree of life together with Xiumin, Luhan and Kai.

The guardians are circling around the tree of life protecting my friends and so as the tree. I was about to run when someone pulled me.

"You can't go there. It's too dangerous" my mother stopped me as I saw her using her telekinesis.

She is protecting Lay from any harm. She grips my arm tighter and I think my blood can't circulate very well.

"What are you talking about they need me," I said as I bawled my fist and grit my teeth.

"There are people who need your help more after this battle than now"

"There will be no people will need me after this battle if none of them are left so let go of me!!" I shouted and I pulled my arm forcefully making a scratch of her nails.

I grab a sword at the ground and cut the vampire's head in front of me. I felt relief in a sudden. I finally cut a vampire's head but I weaken when I saw it's blood. I have urges but I don't know about this one.

I dab my sword at the ground for support until I feel someone come near me. I thought it was an enemy so I almost cut Luhan's head off.

"What the f*ck Luhan!! I almost kill you.. You shouldn't have pop out just like that!! What if I did?!!" I scold him and he didn't mind me at all.

"Are you alright? You shouldn't have go out here it's not safe here. You should've stayed with Tricia" he ask me full of concern.

My tears broke down and shook me have as an answer. I give him a smile as push him slightly gesturing him to go back to his position. I know he doesn't wants to leave me here but if ever he'll protect me, I'm not worth of his protection. I'm a monster Luhan and I killed Kris.
