Tommy once again found himself with a mouth full of bile after the Warp trip and wondered just HOW someone developed a quirk like that. No matter, he thought, wiping his chin and looking around at the forested region among small mountains, trying to find some hint of Ranboo or whoever it was that the Doctor mentioned being an ally.

Or maybe the Doctor sent him here just to get him out of the way. Who knew.

No progress would be made standing around, so Tommy tugged up his hood and began trekking his way through the forest.

Tommy was glad he still had his gloves on, since the weather was much cooler in this region, the season considered. Any colder come later and he'd have to probably bunker down for the night. He absently patted at his pockets, feeling out some more capture tape, a pocket notebook and pencil, small medical supplies, and some leftover nails back from the simulation battle. He took out the capture tape and wound it around his arms to keep his torn sleeves together and conserve heat, and made a note to use the paper to maybe kindle a fire, his nose twitching at the word as he SMELLED a hint of fire.

Or at least friction and heat enough to have it considered smelling like fire.

He ducked under some foliage and came across a heaping mess up upturned earth, shattered rock, and broken trees, some of which battered at with enough force to leave friction marks. Impressive, but unsettling, to be honest. Just what the hell was Ranboo even DOING here, he thought, treading slowly as though afraid to rouse whatever calamity that caused all of this.

Was Ranboo a part of this? Was Ranboo alright? And who -or what- was he even fighting?

Tommy stepped around a larger cracked boulder and promptly found his answer.

An absolute titan of a man was curled up asleep in a crater that looked to be dug from the earth himself for comfort. Tommy only knew he was asleep and not dead when he saw deep, long breaths raise and lower the man's rib cage, no other movement at all showing him to be alive.

He frowned, looking around further. Ranboo, nor any of the others in the Syndicate, were to be seen.

There were no bodies or body parts around, at least, so less of a reason to freak out.

Still, this giant had to be the 'ally' that Ranboo was trying to recruit. The Doctor mentioned something about needing to 'prove' it or something. Too vague, and Tommy was too tired of the runaround and in too deep to just NOT find and help Ranboo now.

He chewed his lip and hesitantly slipped down into the small crater, stepping forward quietly until he was close by. 'Well, time to do something stupid,' he thought to himself as he reached out and touched the giant's shoulder. "...hello?"

Pick up the phone, Tom, you called it.

Tommy was flung out of the crater along with dirt, rocks, and smaller trees as the giant burst from his crater bed like he'd been expecting an attack. "I WILL CRUSH YOU, WEAKLING BRAT!" he roared, looking around wildly before his eyes landed on Tommy, who was brushing himself off. "...you are not him."

"...no, no I'm not," Tommy confirmed, lowering his hood to shake dirt out of it and his hair. "...but do you know where he is? He isn't here."

The beast grunted, looking around with an air of near-disappointment. "Then he gave up," he said. "Master's successor was not a successor after all."

"Hey," Tommy said with a bite to his tone, "he didn't give up. He's just not here. Ranboo doesn't give up." He swallowed a little when the man stood to his full height before leaning down closer, eyes narrowing at Tommy.
