Dysfunctional - Larry adoption Fic

[ Epilogue ]

Louis and Harry were planning Lydia's 5th Birthday in Johannah's backyard while the boys took her out as a distraction and to spend some time with their niece. 

"Zayn Where is Niall-"

both their heads turn to see Niall and Lydia walking out of the ice cream shop with four sundaes.

"NIALL !? WHAT THE-" Liam screeches as he watches the blonde sit on the chair outside and open the sundaes.

"What? Its her birthday we're celebrating" Niall shrugs and feeds Lydia some of the ice cream and eats some himself.

"She's going to have a sugar rush, Harry and Louis are going to have our heads" Zayn says in a matter of factly tone, plopping down beside the two. 

"Its inevitable, better enjoy your ice cream before it melts" Niall says and Liam nods sitting down as they eat their sundaes.

"GEMMA WE NEED LAVENDER STREAMERS. LAVENDER."

"LOTTIE I NEED THE UNICORN STUFFIES, NOT THE ELEPHANTS" 

"CAN YOU GUYS CALM DOWN!?"

Anne and Jay yell together as all four heads turn to them. 

"What in the world are you guys screaming about, everything is right here. The background for the Frozen theme is already set up outside all you need to do is hang the fairy lights and snowflake shaped lights. And of course the streamers and gifts."

"What's so hard?" Anne sighs and shakes her head. Louis' phone pings as his eyes widen.

"Liam just texted me, they're on their way back home" he says and everyone scurries out the door to decorate the backyard while Anne and Jay work on the cake.

Since Lydia had been obsessed with Frozen, the party was Frozen themed. Harry for some reason thought it was a dress up party so now he was in a Olaf costume.

Everyone took their positions as the door opened, Lydia running in with Niall in tow. 

"Surprise !" 

Lydia jumps, eyes widening as she sees the wide array of gifts and decorations around the house.

"This is all mine!?" She screams and Louis nods, raising an eyebrow at the boys who conveniently looked away. 

"What did you guys do-"

"Did you feed her more sugar then she is supposed to have-!?" Harry says walking behind them.

"It was Niall" Liam and Zayn say together. Before Louis could lunge on Niall, his mom calls them for the cake cutting. 

Harry lifts her up, Louis standing beside them as he pushes her loose hair back. 

"C'mon love, blow the candles and make a wish" he says as Lydia blows out the candles, the room erupting in claps as everyone sang 'Happy Birthday' for her. 

"What'd you wish for mini Styles" Niall smirks as she shakes her head. "I can't tell you Uncle Ni or it won't come true" She says and he chuckles.

The party was more fun than they'd imagined, Lydia absolutely loved it. She loved Harry's costume more though. 

Currently Louis was tucking her in bed, as she mumbled sleepily.

"Daddy?" 

"yeah love?"

"D'you know...I didn't wish for anything" She says looking up at him with glimmering eyes.

"Why is that love?" He asks, fingers moving through her hair to lull her to sleep.

"Cause' I gotchu and Papa, I don't know what to wish for now" She giggles as Louis' eyes water slightly.

He bends down, kissing her forehead and smiling softly. 

"I love you sun"

"I love you too daddy" she smiles, eyes closing as she falls asleep.

Harry clears his throat, leaning on the door as he watches them talk.

"We maybe a little Dysfunctional, chaotic at times but I love our little family" he says as Louis walks up to him, head resting on his shoulder.

"Living Dysfunctionally is the way of life curly" Louis says making Harry smile.

"Here's to forever being Dysfunctionally in love."

"Forever Dysfunctionally in love."
