I believe people aren't born evil. They may be predisposed to it, but it all depends on how you're raised.

Are monsters born or made?

Studies have found that one is not born a psychopath or a narcissist. It's a learned behavior. It means that you can't be born a monster, but you can be taught to be one. Hitler never killed anyone directly, but his monstrous philosophy is responsible for the deaths of one hundred and eighty million people. He taught people to hate, he made them monsters. Not that he wasn't a monster himself, but you get my point. Which only reinforces my opinion that people become monsters in the course of their lives, whether out of hate or love. That would be a simple answer, but as you've probably noticed by now, I don't settle for that. I was born into a good family and I was raised well. I was taught how to share, that I had to ask and thank people but despite that I became what I am now. I wouldn't say I'm a monster. I'm not a psychopath or a narcissist, but I don't see the problem with manipulating people and lying. I don't feel remorse and I don't sympathize with others. I believe people deserve suffering if they are stupid enough to get into it even if they could have prevented it. But I'm not a monster. I am what I am. I'm an opportunist, I'm an egocentric, I'm a Machiavellian. And I have no problem with that. As long as everything goes according to my plan and no one gets in my way, I have no reason to become a monster.
