I love you, I hate you—
I'd never forsake you,
Yet you turned your back in a day.Did all of my suffering
To you just mean nothing?
You're hurting, but I'm not to blame. You want me to smile,
You want me to laugh,
So your conscience can be at ease.I happily comply—
Your knife still in my back—
Still taking everything from me.Your mind is at peace
Thinking that I'm ok
When you broke my heart and my trust.I don't recognize you,
At least not anymore,
I don't want to let go but I must.- a note to myself
