Third Person POV

~ Three days later ~

The morning of the attack the campers woke up before dawn. They ate breakfast and started the plan. Everyone got dressed and had their weapons ready. The Hephaestus, Hermes, and Dionysus cabins set up traps for the enemy.

Once the traps were set, the Apollo cabin and healers made sure that the infirmary was stocked and the children under 12 would be fine in the Big House. The campers went about their day naturally and stayed prepared to run/fight at a moment's notice.

Then, they heard it, the horn. Everyone rushed into their groups and headed to the barrier or the Big House. The scouts came back and reported that there were 50,000 monsters plus the titans and giants. They were full of cyclops, empousa, hellhounds, dracaenas, and the minotaur. (He doesn't give up.)

The Titans and giants were separated by a hoard of monsters between them.

(A/N ~ So monsters, Coeus, monsters, Enceladus, monsters, Orion, etc.)

The monsters rushed up the hill resulting in many of them dying from the traps they set off. When they finally made it to where the campers were waiting, they fell into another trap. Thousands of monsters have gone just like that. Boom. And some more from Greek fire.

Once all of the traps were set, the campers ran to their positions.

The Plan:

Half-Blood Hill and the surrounding areas are booby-trapped.

Archers and hunters will hide in the trees and wait for the fight to begin.

¼ of the Ares and Iris campers watch the Big House and protect the younger campers.

Campers minus those watching the Big House and helping the gods split into nine groups. Those nine groups will handle a section that they will be given.

¼ of the Hermes cabin will help collect the wounded and bring them to the infirmary.

Groups against the titans and giants:

Coeus - Beckendorf with five campers

Crius - Bianca with five campers

Hyperion - Silena with five campers

Hydra - Hestia with five campers

Enceladus - Athena + Annabeth + four campers

Porphyrion - Zeus + Jason + four campers

Alcyoneus - Hades + Nico + Hazel + three campers

Polybotes - Poseidon + Neander + four campers

Otis and Ephialtes - Dionysus + Demeter + Ares + Frank + two campers

Orion - Artemis + Apollo + Thalia + Zoe + two hunters

Hippolytus - Hermes + Luke + four campers

Mimas - Hephaestus + Leo + four campers

Periboea - Aphrodite + Piper + four campers

Clytius - Hecate + Lou Ellen + four campers

Kronos - Luke + Neander

Once Neander was sure everyone was in position, he gave the signal, a shot of water into the air. The archers and hunters started to fire arrows left and right. The campers left to start killing the monsters and the groups left to find their titan or giant.

Everyone worked together and fought hard. After two hours, they had put a major dent into the army of monsters. There were no deaths and only a few injured. Alyconeus, Orion, and Clytius were piles of dust. Every time a titan or giant fell, the demigods fought back harder, giving it their all.

Three hours later, there were only 20,000 monsters, Enceladus, Porphyrion, Otis and Ephialtes, Mimas, and Kronos left. The demigods were starting to tire but Aphrodite, Piper, and Silena charm spoke to make them fight harder.

Another two hours and everyone was gone, except Kronos. He stood in the back and angrily watched as his allies fell and his enemies didn't.

"Never thought I'd see the day I'd fight you two," Kronos said wistfully.

"And here I was hoping I never saw you again," Neander retorted.

"Still as sarcastic as always huh Jackson?" Kronos asked.

"Actually. I go by Neander now," he answered.

"Hmm. And what about you Luke? Want to come back to the good side," Kronos questioned.

"I'd rather die," Luke replied.

"That can be arranged," Kronos smiled sadistically.

He threw two knives, one for Neander's head and the other for Luke's side. Neander ducked and Luke rolled. Kronos tried to use that momentary distraction to send more knives but Neander got the ones headed for him and sent them back, hitting Kronos in the legs and arms. Luke dodged the knives thrown at him and snuck behind Kronos.

With Kronos sandwiched between the two, he was forced to defend himself.

Neander slashed everyone at Kronos' lower body, while Luke aimed for the upper. They were a formidable team. But Kronos had a trick up his sleeve from Hyperion. He threw a light bomb into the air forcing Neander and Luke to look away. He took their distraction as a chance to get them both on the same side. By the time he had done this, Neander was alert and studying Kronos.

While Neander was studying and Luke was still temporarily blinded, Kronos sent a slash at Neander's arm. Neander winced and attacked Kronos again. They went blow for blow. Soon Luke was back into action and sending blows.

They all went back and forth for who knows how long. They were all injured but Kronos more than the other two. He had shallow and deep slashes everywhere, from head to toe.

Neander and Luke were both sporting different cuts and bruises. Like Kronos, some were deeper than the other. Luke had a semi-deep cut on his leg causing him to limp a bit. Neander had a semi-deep cut in his left arm.

As they were all going back and forth, the campers and gods watched, mesmerized and worried. Mesmerized at the strength, power, confidence, and synchronization Luke and Neander used to fight Kronos but worried about how this battle was going. It seemed that no one was getting the upper hand.

That was until Luke left himself slightly open. Kronos used that slight opening to send a knife to Luke's heart. Neander, seeing this, pushed Luke out of the way and took the blade to the side.

"PERCY," Luke screamed.

He tried to stand but the wound on his leg plus his newly sprained ankle from falling was not having him stand. Neander ignored the knife in his side and fought harder.

Hermes and Beckendorf rushed to Luke and pulled him to the side. Will and Apollo started to heal his wounds, while he tried and failed to get up to help Neander.

Neander fought harder and faster the worse his wounds started to hurt. Kronos, who was expecting the opposite, was overpowered. Neander sent a streak of darkness toward Kronos and knocked him off balance. He used his sword and made a deep slash from Kronos' neck to his stomach.

Neander thought that would be it, and it was. But when Kronos was knocked off balance no one saw the knife he sent flying toward Neander. As Kronos was turning to dust he laughed at the pained expression on Neander's face. The knife hit him on his other side. Kronos disappeared into dust and Neander fell to the ground, bleeding out.
