Ch 8 Her care

At 1am Abi woke up and realised himself sleeping on Saki's lap. Saki jerked and woke up because of sudden lose of weight on her lap. When she found Abi she relaxed.
A: Thank you ma
S: It's ok ma. Vaa roomukku polaam.
They woke Sakthi and Achu and moved to their respective rooms.

Two days went smoothly after that incident. Mani along with Hussain and Siva decided to stay with Rani and Raja until they go back to India. The girls stayed in AS house as it was easy for going to work and they enjoyed eachother's company. AS house was now theirs too.
On the third day evening everyone returned from work and retired to sleep. Achu stayed with Rani as she was having mild fever.
Saki didn't feel sleepy so she decided to read some books leaving the room lights on. There was a knock on her room door and when she opened it she found Abi in vulnerable state with moist eyes and lots of sweat. She immediately knew that something was really wrong.
A: Ma, bayama irukku. Nee thoongalala adhaan vandhaen. Konja neram unkooda irukatta?
Saki let him in. He sat on the bed trying hard to hold back his tears.
S: Ennaachu Abi ma? (With full care and worry in her voice)
And that's it. Abi let out all the tears he was trying to control. Saki hugged him to her chest. He hugged her tighter and cried his heart out. She patted him and caressed his hairs until he started saying things, still not breaking the hug.

A: Appa phone pannaanga. Ammakku heart attackaam. Hospitalla admit pannirkaanga. Bayama irukku ma.
S: Ammakku onnum aagadhu ma. Don't worry. Amma naalaikku totalla cure aayittu unkitta pesuvaanga paaru.
A: hmm ...
After hugging silently for some more time he left her.
She made him drink some water and laid his head on her lap. She caressed his hairs while he held her hand tightly to himself. Soon he dozed off tired from all the crying.
She carefully made his head lay on the pillow and covered him with the duvet and moved to hall and slept on the couch after leaving a note on the night stand stating "I am in hall".

Abi woke up at early morning and found himself in Saki's room. He remembered the last night's happenings and jerked as he didn't find Saki near but soon he composed himself and a small smile crept on his lips when he read the note. He liked the way she understands him without even telling it out. He got refreshed and went to hall to find Saki sleeping on couch uncomfortably. He woke her up.
A: Saki, elundhiri ma.
S: Good morning Abi. Edhaachu venuma? How r u now?
A: all fine ma. Thangachi phone panna, ammava normal wardukku shift pannitaanga. Nee poi roomla rest edu ma. Na breakfast ready panraen.
S: Pakka?
A: sure ma. Nee rest edu.

She slept for awhile and got ready to work. They had their breakfast and left to hospital. Saki made a mental note to talk to Mani about his mother as she was Mani's aunt too.
