I knew I was starting to develop feelings for Gerard, but if we mess up the ritual i won't have a chance to love him like that.

Gerard's POV:
Y/N has been so nice to me. I love being around them. They make me happy. I don't wanna leave them, I just hope that when I'm human again I'll be able to stay here.
"Y/N?" I asked. "Yes?" They sighed. "I need to tell you something" I said. "What is it?" They asked carefully. "I'm honestly a little scared to be human again" I admitted. "Hey, there's nothing to be scared of" they said. "We'll find you a job and a place to stay at"
"But I was thinking about staying here" I said. "Only for a week or 2!"
"I'll have to ask Jay once we get you back to human" they said. "Tomorrow night you'll be yourself again"

"I have another thing to tell you" i sighed. "I-"
"Shit, no time, Jay is home" they said. "Go to my room!"
I nodded, turned myself into a cat and ran to the hallway. I stopped halfway and listened to what they were saying.

"Hey Y/N!" Jay said. "Hey, how was the trip?" They asked. "It was alright" he shrugged. "I was just wondering if one of my friends could stay at our place for a while?" Y/N asked. "Sure, I don't see a problem" Jay said. "When are they coming?"
"Tomorrow night" Y/N said. "He's really nice and pretty handsome too"
"Y/N, is he your boyfriend?" Jay asked. "No!" They said. "I just think he's good looking!"
"You like him!" Jay smirked. "NO!" Y/N exclaimed. "Ok maybe a little bit"
"What's his name?" He asked. "Gerard" Y/N sighed.

'No, they can't' I thought. 'It's not real'
"Make sure to get in bed with him" Jay winked. "You're gross man" Y/N sighed.

I sneaked into Y/N's bedroom and thought about what I just heard. 'Oh lord' I thought. "Gee?" That asked. "Hi" I answered. "So Jay said that you can stay over for a while" they said.

Y/N's POV:
'There's no way he heard us' I calmed myself. 'He was right here'
"Once you're human again, You're sleeping on the couch" I said. "So what did you wanna tell me?"
"it's nothing" Gerard said. "It was stupid anyways"
"Oh, alright" I sighed. "Well, it's getting late, we should go to bed"

I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes.

I felt someone pet my hair. "Goodnight" Gerard whispered. "I love you" He kissed my forehead and went to sleep. "Love you too" I sighed. His tail shot up and he looked at me. "You're my best friend" I smiled. "Yeah" he smiled.

I turned around in my bed and went to sleep.

"Y/N wake up" Gerard said. "Pleeeaase"
"Shut up" I yawned. "Get uuup" he whined. "If you don't, I'll kiss you"
"Oh, then I definitely won't" I teased. "You don't have the guts"
"Ya think?" He smirked.
He grabbed my face and kissed me.
"My statement has been proven wrong" I said.
"Now get up" he said. "Fine"  I sighed.
