The night

That evening...

"Y/N tonight's the night!" Gerard grinned. "Let's get everything ready!"
"Alright, alright!" I laughed. "Let's go"
"Hey Jay, I'm gonna take Gee on a walk" I said. "Alright!" Jay said from the kitchen.

"Alright! Get the candles and matches, they should be in that box over there" I pointed to a box. "I'll get the paint"
"Let's get human me back" Gerard smiled.

We ran to the old cabin and set up everything.

"The moon should rise in 10 minutes" I said, looking at my watch. "Do you wanna get the best of demon me while we still can?" He asked. "Sure" I nodded. He took me outside. "Hold on tight" he said, grabbing me by my waist and I grabbed onto him.
Soon I felt my feet lift up from the ground. I shut my eyes and tightened my grip. "It's okay" Gerard said. "You're safe"
I looked up at him, his smile was sweet and his eyes were shimmering. "Look" he said, turning my face to the town down below. "It's beautiful" I sighed. "The moon" he said. "Let's go"

We landed and ran to the cabin.
"Go In the middle" I said and Gerard stepped into the middle of the pentagram. I put the crystal ring onto the windowsill.
"You'll be fine" I said. "I know" he nodded.
I lit the candles and as the moonlight shined down onto the candles, the flames burned white and Gerard's horns and tail started to burn. "Y/N it hurts" he said. "Just stay strong" I said. His horns started to fall apart and his tail started to fade. "Y/N I can't do this, it hurts" he cried. "Yes you can" I said. "You can do anything"

His horns and tail fell off completely and disappeared as the ring turned red.
Gerard collapsed onto the floor. "Gerard are you alright?" I asked. "Yeah, I think" he said. "Rest for a bit, I'll bury the ring" I said.

I grabbed the ring and ran outside. I buried it into the ground a placed a big rock over it.

"Let's go home" I said. "What are you gonna say to Jay?" Gerard asked. "About 'your cat', it just disappeared?"
"I'll say that it ran away" I shrugged.

"Hey guys!" Jay said as we got back home. "Nice to meet you Gerard"
"Nice to meet you too Jay" He smiled. "I've heard a lot about you" Jay said. "How long have you know Y/N for?"
"Like a year I think" Gerard lied. "We met at a cafe" "that's cool" Jay said. "Y/N thinks you're hot!"
He ran off and the silence was really awkward. "That idiot" I grumbled. "Is that true?" Gerard smirked. "I told him that I think you're good looking and I think you're also really charming" I sighed. "Is it such a big deal?"
He blushed a little. "No" he chuckled. "But you could've just told me"
He traced a hand down the side of my face. "Yeah yeah, I'm tired and I wanna go to sleep" I said. "Do I have to sleep on the couch?" He asked. "Yes, unless you wanna share a bed with me" I answered. He looked at me in the eyes and smirked.
