Hello hellooo hopefully I can find the motivation to finish writing this story in a couple of more chapters. I'm thinking maybe 3 more. I'm not sure yet. I have an outline for the story with a clear path it's just getting everything down in a way I like is hard. Sorry for the slow updates I've been busy with work and school. Not to mention I joined the 💪🏻 gym! Haha wish me luck in my journey.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Gaara had never felt more nervous and excited in his life than he did that night. Ever since he had seen Sakura at the hospital he hadn't been able to get her out of his head. He couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was. Even if she did look tired, that didn't take away from her complexity. He had been waiting patiently for her to call him. And he had been waiting a while, to the point were he worried that he might have mistyped his phone number on his business card and that's why she hadn't been able to contact him.
So the night when she called him his heart jumped to his throat making him choke with nervousness. She had consequently decided to take him up on his earlier offer of letting her ride in his car. What he had forgotten was that he mention she could bring her friend who was apparently a HUGE fan of his.
"Gaara don't look so nervous. Girls like confidence." His spinky blonde sister said as she watched him fiddle with his hair from the door way. She was leaning against it with her folded arms watching her brother get ready to pick up the pinkette she had a run in with the a couple of days prior.
"I'm not nervous Temari. Leave me alone." He grumbled, still trying to find the right way to style his hair. He had finally managed to comb half of his hair down in a neat path. "Yah shut it Temari let the real love expert help him." Kankuro said as he poked his head pass the door. This caused Temari to roll her eyes . "What are you a hip youth pastor?! Come here." Gaara didn't have time to stop his brother from ruffling his hair into a mess again. " tch! Come on!Kankuro grow up." He growled as he stared at the mirror with a glum expression. "Trust me bro it's for the best. I would hate myself if I let you see this chick while looking like that."
"Thanks. I really appreciate it." Gaara made sure he put enough sarcasm in his tone so that even his thick headed brother could pick it up. "I hate to agree with Kankuro, like seriously it physically pains me to agree with him, but he's got a point. Why are you trying to change how you normally look?" Temari asked, ignoring the annoyed look she was receiving from her brown haired brother. Gaara seemed to frown before answering her. "It's just that I want to make a good impression with her. Most of the times I talk with women they are already fans or think I'm some kind of a fuck boy. I just want to show her I'm capable of being a gentleman and holding good conversations." He explained, causing his siblings to shoot each other a look of concern.
"Gaara take it from experience hiding who you are to fit into a crowd will only make you regret being friends with them." Kankuro said as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Beside, I don't think Sakura is someone who judges people by looks. She seems like she's an open and easy going person. Tattoos on your neck or messy hair won't make her dislike you." Temari said as she remembered her conversation with the pinkette. Also, she thought to herself, she didn't see how someone who she caught escaping from a fire escape could really afford judging others. But she would keep that to herself. Their words seem to reach Gaara as he sighed and left his hair a ruffled mess.
"I guess your right.." he shot his siblings a reassuring smile. "You better get going if you want to make your date." Temari smiled teasingly at him. This caused some red to settle on his pale skin. "Right." Gaara nodded before pulling on his denim jacket over his white shirt. Temari couldn't help but feel like a proud mother watching her son go on his first date. It was instinct for her to watch over her younger siblings as her dad was a dead beat and her mother had passed away at a young age. It was enough to almost bring tears to her eyes. Of course almost being the key word because she didn't dare let them slide out.
"I'm off. Wish me luck." He said, sending them a peace sign before grabbing his keys and opening the door. "Remember to wrap your Willy before you get silly!" Kankuro shouted from the couch causing an embarrassed Gaara to flip him off before closing the door behind him.
