Ch 8

" man you look like complete shit" sakura felt her best friend squeeze her face as she said  those words. "Uggggghhhhhh" She groaned in response as she leaned her head into the hands. "Why are you so tired? You better not be staying up late binge watching The Office again! Seriously you've watched it like a billion times." Ino said as she let go of her friends face and crossed her arms. "Plus it's not even that good once Michael leaves it's pretty much all down hill from there." Ino said as she searched her pockets for candy that she kept for patients.
                 With that Sakura's head snapped up in a grumble. "How dare you the Office is a cinema masterpiece. Woven together by the gods of comedy and romance in one fell swoop!" Sakura said as she shook her fist with pride. "Yeah, yeah... here eat this the sugar should keep you going for a bit."  The blonde said as she handed Sakura a strawberry candy. The pinkette happily accepted it, quickly plopping it into her mouth. With a satisfying hum she stretched her arms above her an twisted her back till it gave her a crack of relief.

           "So what has really got you feeling like shit?" Ino asked as she continued to walk to her next patient. "It's my new job. It's not exactly hard work but it is exhausting hours." Sakura huffed as she followed Ino down the hall.  "Wait what? You got a new job? Why?" Ino stopped walking and frowned at her friend. It was then that Sakura realized she has yet to tell her friend everything that happened. From her car breaking down to the bills piling up on her couch. "I need more money." Sakura huffed in embarrassment. "Oh honey, you don't need another job if you need money me and Sai can help."
               Sakura knew that her friend meant well, but she couldn't help but feel like she was using her in a way. "No, no it's ok. Honestly Ino if it really comes down to it I won't hesitate to ask but I'm fine." Sakura said with a weary smile. Ino wasn't convinced at all she knew her pink friend since they were kids and she had gotten better at reading her expression. "Tch seriously your annoying when you don't listen." The blonde girl grumbled behind her pink friend. "Yah yah, you love me." Sakura. Hummed happily as she hugged her friend. "Psh you're lucky I do." Ino said as she hugged her back.

             "What are you two idiots doing?" Amy's voice broke the comfortable atmosphere that you and Ino shared. "Jeez not only are you annoying but you're also blinde. Poor you." Ino said as she crossed her arms in front of her. "Inoooo.." you whispered to your friend as she continued glaring at the women in front of her. "Shut up you bipedal pig Im not here to deal with you." Amy glared back. "Where did you even come from Im surprised we didn't hear your hoofs stomping the ground from a mile away." Ino sneered. It was almost enough to make Sakura break out laughing but she bit her tongue as hard as  she could to stop herself.
            "Oh darling my heels are beautiful. you wish you had enough space in your head for fashion sense, but sadly you don't. I mean have you seen yourself in your outside clothes? I feel bad for whatever poor bastard dates you." Amy lifted a hand to cover a very obvious laugh. "That's it!" Ino said rolling up her sleeves and walking towards her. Sakura had to use all her strength to hold Ino back. "Ino stop it! This is what she wants.. dam it." She huffed as she yanked her friend back. Ino finally stopped herself before doing anything she would regret.
               "Hmph Thats better, anyways get lost im here to speak with the pink idiot behind you." Amy said as she pointed at Sakura . "For what?" Sakura asked in a begrudging tone. "Step into my office and you'll see." And with that Amy turned her direction and began to walk away. "Ino.. are you ok? You know better than to fall for Amy's antics." Sakura said as she looked at her friend. "Ugh I know but I really can't stand that bitch." Ino huffed as she clenched her fist. "I know just bare with it I'll finish school and become a doctor and then I'll be in charge of her!" Sakura said as she determinedly clenched her fist in front of her.
               " you better!" Ino relaxed a bit and let a small smile form on her face. "Anyways wish me luck ." Sakura said through a worried smile. "Good luck." Ino whispered as she watched her pink friend walk away.
