PUNCH 4

" Guys, we need to finish this mission do what you got to do," Raymond's voice sounded in my ears, and considering everybody else stood at attention, I realized that they all heard him, and at that moment, a lot of things happened all at once.  Devin jumped into action and knocked Dylan out with one blow and then I wondered how he could have held back from knocking Leo after he had accidentally thrown his tablet down and broken it. and then he punched Brian who staggered backward groaning and clutching his stomach. looking up at Devin with hatred in his eyes. I then landed a kick in the stomach which sent him crashing to the ground in a heap. the other guy tried to run away but Liam stopped him by grabbing him by the arm and twisting it behind his back shoving him against the wall and whispered in his ear threateningly and the man visibly shivered. after having hogtied him and threw him in the trunk of the car. 

On Thursday,  I walked into school but noticed something was different I just couldn't quite put my finger on it. everybody seemed very cheerful. not bothering about anything, I rashed into the school but stopped short when I saw the guys waiting at my locker. when reached, I asked what they wanted. " oh come on Tess that's no way to greet your friends." Devin said with a huge grin on his face.  " hi." I said with fake cheeriness in my voice. I then looked at the other guys.  Leo looked like he'd rather be anywhere but here. and Liam looked hopeful. I then looked at them with a bored look on my face and repeated my question " what do you want?" " look, we just to be friends with you, "Lucas said scratching the back of his neck and looking sheepish at the same time. " don't get your hopes up," Leo said looking at his phone. everyone glared at him but he shrugged his shoulders and continued staring at his phone. I agreed to be their friend after they followed me all over school but, to be honest, I just wanted them to stop following me around because I was also tired of seeing Devins's puppy dog eyes. I have to admit that he is cute but I just couldn't take all this aging anymore little did I know that I was going to regret it.

" are you serious?" I asked Devin during lunch where I was forced to sit with them. I looked around trying to find Sky because I had not seen her all-day " hey look, there she is>" Leo said sounding all preppy. I just rolled my eyes not believing him. he looked disappointed when I did not look in the direction he was pointing. I then saw Skyler running up to our table. she was about not waiting for her so we could walk to the lunchroom together but stopped short when she saw that the guys were all staring at her with mesmerizing expressions on their faces. she frowned slightly and looked down pulling me off my seat and walking out of the lunchroom with me following behind her and when we were out of earshot she turned to me with wide eyes and a big smile on her face. " okay spill." she said while tugging at my wrist and jumping up and down. " calm down Sky, I sighed before continuing to talk with an exhausted look on my face they're just my friends. " friends?" she asked in disbelief and her mouth was hanging open. " but they are the most popular boys in the school and you're... well, you." she said, " yeah we met last weekend and they asked me to tutor them in math and I accepted and now, we're friends." I lied through my teeth but my lie was so convincing that she believed it without question. " now if you don't mind I am going back to eat." said leaving her alone at the entrance of the lunchroom. I walked back to my place with the guys and began eating my apple. I was about to take another bite out of my apple when I felt a change in the atmosphere. I looked up and realized that all of them were staring at me. " so, who is that charming girl you  were just talking to?" Liam asked but Devin answered the question before I could get the chance to. "her name is Skyler Evans and she is top of her class. she lives with her mom and dad and has been in all the same classes as us since kindergarten." he said as if he was reading off a paper. he then adjusted his glasses that had slipped to the edge of his nose. I stared at him with my mouth slightly open. " wait, how do you know all this?"I asked him slowly. he looked at me seriously and said " I'm good at my job." He said looking all mysterious with a mischievous grin on his face. " well, I didn't know that you have stalker tendencies." I said with a serious look on my face.  

have you ever felt like someone is following you? well, that's exactly what happened to me today so, like any other normal person, I looked over my shoulder and so no one. any normal person would not walk into an alley that led nowhere but I did in order to draw whoever was following me and force them to reveal themselves. two hooded figures showed up behind me and I turned to face them. I took a fighting stance ready to take them on.  I was going in for the flying kick and a super spin but I had to duck and dodge instead because the other guys were much faster than me. I then decided that keeping up with their speed was too much so I kicked their legs from under them and they went crashing to the ground and gave each of them a roundhouse kick " whoa their Betty, we mean you no harm." one of the guys groaned. " really? cause you sure have a funny way of showing it you're the ones who attacked me first." " Hey look, we're sorry for following you but we only attacked because we thought you were going to attack us okay he sighed before continuing. I'm Kyle and this is my friend Mason, we wanted to make sure that you got home safe."
