today I saw Sky, she did not have the usual bounce when she walked, she seemed very depressed I gave her a quick hug when she reached me. " I was so worried about you. are you okay? talk to me Sky" " I would if you'd just let me breath" she said grumpily " well, okay  I'm  sorry  I was just concerned about you, your  sister told me that you were in hospital  and the kids from your class said that you run out the school crying, what is going on?" I asked her well dad is unwell and I must take his place at work." she said sounding very sad and looking downcast.  the rest of the day was uneventful. I had lunch with the guys and this time, I invited Skyler to have lunch with us so she would not feel too lonely and sad. She played with her food most of the time and soon the bell rang and we all had to go to our next lessons. Sky and I had Ap literature while the guys had Art class. the two of us headed to class and took our seats at the back of the class. the class had all the stereotypical types of students, the jocks who kept flexing their muscles and the cheerleaders who were openly staring at the jocks who absolutely loved it then there were the nerds who were checking their homework for nonexistent errors. the gamers hardly ever looked up from the screens of their phones.  the occasional couple that was either cuddling or making out. it took just three minutes for our teacher miss Smith who always wore her hair in a tight burn on top of her head. " silence all of you," she said, and instantly, the whole room went silent. you could even hear a  pin drop. the lesson began and went on without any interruptions until suddenly, the door flew open, and in the doorway stood a guy with a backpack slung over one of his shoulders. miss Smith snapped her head towards the doorway and so did the rest of the class.  his blue eyes darted around the room before settling on me. there was an intensity in his eyes that I just couldn't describe it. " sir, to what do we owe this honor." miss Smith asked him sarcastically. the guy who was yet to introduce himself stepped into the classroom looking nervous now that he stepped into the light of the classroom, I could clearly make out his facial features. he had dark hair that perfectly framed his face. he introduced himself to the class as Darius. " maybe you should be more punctual next time after all/ we don't want you to be sent to the principals' office next time you're tardy." miss Smith said and sent him to sit right in front of me. the rest of class was a blur

Alright boys and girls, drop and give me 20. Our P.E teacher shouted as we all got onto our hands. The workout was easy for some of us but others had a lot of difficulties. We had to stay in shape or we would fail our missions which could lead to death. Soon the coach Blew her whistle and we all stopped, got onto our feet, and then headed off to the bathrooms. Luckily today was only work out daily and not an obstacle course day so I was not as tired. I quickly got into the shower and got ready to go to training well, when I exited the school, Ray was waiting for me but instead of driving to the training center, he took a different route. he drove to underground parking at an abandoned mall. he put the car in park and motioned for us to get out of the car and when I gave him a confused look he told me that I was ready to see the headquarters of the league he continued to tell me that I did well on my mock mission and that I was ready for the next stage. we got out of the car and walked to an elevator which was surprisingly in perfect shape compared to the rest of the structure. I was surprised to see that there was a lower level  Ray pushed the down button and the doors closed sending us deeper into the facility. when the doors opened, I was amazed by what I saw my mouth hanging open in awe. the inside was not only intact but it looked like the inside of a mall except that instead of shops, there were cubicles where many people were typing on keyboards while staring at their monitors. the only sound that could be heard was the typing and our feet taping at the cobbled stone floor. we passed by some people in their early twenties who were supporting a guy between them. his face was covered in blood and one of his legs seemed to be broken.

When we reached the end of the hallway,  we found a large wooden door which Ray pushed open to reveal a large office that was brightly lit by fluorescent bulbs at the far end of the room was a big desk upon which were huge stacks of paper and a large office chair with its back to us and in that chair sat someone was on the phone. " well, are they badly hurt? oh, okay, just keep them there for the night and make sure they are comfortable............. of course, I will personally pick them up ............ yes, I'm sure, no you can't uh, just tell mom she will have a solution. look, I have to go ill see you tonight." he hung up the phone and swiveled the chair so he was facing us. now that I had a good look at him, he looked very familiar but I just could not remember where I had seen him before. Raymond, what are you doing here?" he asked but his tone was friendly. which made me relax a little. " you called me and asked me to come with agent 432," Raymond replied while pocketing and leaning against the door frame. " oh yeah, I did dint I?" he replied with a small smile on his lips. " I'm sure Darius will be happy to see her," he said and proceeded to press a button on his intercom that was near his stack of papers, " yes?" replied a  gruff voice. that I now remembered I had heard before that night when I went with the guys on my first mission.    " send Darius to my office," he said with a sudden look of seriousness and I frowned at that but I looked up when I heard him chuckle. a giant grin was plastered on his face " relax Tess, there is no need to look so upset," he said warmly he then gestured for us to sit in the seats that were placed in front of his desk. when we were seated, the door flew open and I felt like I was having a case of Deja Vu. there he was standing in the doorway again except this time, he wore a lab court and he had his black hair standing up like he had run his hand through it several times making him look like a mad scientist, really all he was missing was a pair of goggles and a monster.
