Let me be your new Beginning

Capter 15

The days went by faster than expected and Lana recovered slowly but steady and then the day came when their parents were visiting them.

"Hey....nice to see you again.", Lana said, hugging Kathleen slightly. 

They actually managed to keep the second baby a secret from Sean's Family to surprise them just now.

Lana followed them in the living room, sitting down carefully since it was still hurting, but she was able to walk again and feed their daughter. 

She was just not allowed to hold them whilst standing.

"Hey mum.", Sean grinned with only one daughter in his arms, hiding the other one next door.

"Aww. Sean. She is so cute.", She said, and hurried to get to his son. 

Sean put Rose in her arms, smiling slightly.Lana grinned when Kathleen was completely occupied with Rose, whilst Sean was getting Felicita.

"You can hold your granddaughter as well, dad.",Sean said, placing the second baby in his arms as he entered the room again.

" Omg... these are... twins???" he asks stunned and took the obviously smaller baby with such a tenderness.

 " Twins... there where two little princesses in your belly and you didn't found the necessarity to tell me these are actually twins?" Kathleen seemed first stunned and than hurt 

" We never knew until Felicità ( the one in your arms daddy) started to move more and with that: hurt Lana. But we wanted to keep it until you see them on your own!" he explained 

" so... for you again: Mom... your Granddaughter is called Rose Raquel Maguire and Dad yours is Felicità ( luck, and the younger but more feisty one I can tell!) he laughed

"Oh my God. I love their names so much.", Kathleen said, hugging Rose tightly. 

All the hurt in her voice was gone since she was completely over floating with emotions.

"You better never keep such a secret from me again, Sean.", Kathleen said laughingly.

"You better never make me pregnant with twins again, Sean!", Lana cutted in.

" As if I could have an influrence on that Lana!" he tried to defend himself and looked a little hurt 

Then better don't make me pregnant again Maguire!" she smirked and tried to make him understand that it's a joke

 "I will think about that.", he grinned amused.

"I think we'll have enough work with these two.", Lana grinned.

"Oh you will.", Kathleen said laughingly. "But how are you doing Lana? You feeling alright?" she asked

 " No... I don't feel alright but I manage to survive!" she saw that she could trust her mother in law and be weak in front of her.

 "It will get better. I promise.", Kathleen said, knowing the pain that comes with a c-section.

"We are here now and you can rest basically the whole day. You need it. I can see how tired both of you are.", Kathleen said.

"Yeah... Well... When one of them is sleeping, the other one decides to wake up. It's exhausting.", Sean confessed. 

"Honestly. All we do is sleep, feed, repeat.", he laughed.

" I believe you... let's go to the couch so you can rest!" Kathleen smiled 

" Let's go!" they agreed and awake as Kathleen was, she saw the simple ring on Seans ring finger
