I'm super proud of myself for putting out another update within 2 weeks I think? Just another update in general!
Sooooo this has just minor lemon in it. Bare with me! I'm trying to get back into the groove of the story again. So it might be a couple of chapters before we go back to the full blown raunchy stuff we all love.

I walk up the moonlit stone path leading to our front door wondering if I made any difference in putting Shikamaru at ease tonight.

He's a good man. He'll be an even better father. But I also know that becoming a parent is terrifying.

I still look at Kei and Nikko and wonder if I'm raising them the right way.

And I always wonder what good I did to deserve them.

The front door opens and Kakashi greets me in his pajama pants and the hint of a smile on his lips.

His hair limply sticks to his forehead a bit, evidence of the shower he probably just took.

His muscles just barely flex under his t-shirt as he leans against the doorframe.

Sometimes I still wonder what I did to deserve him as well.

"Have I ever told you that the way you look in the moonlight makes me fall in love with you all over again?" He says with his voice full of adoration.

I'd be a little surprised that the father of my children can still make me blush this way if it weren't for the way my heart still flutters in my chest at the sound of his voice.

I hope this feeling never goes away.

"Awfully smooth for someone I was irritated with earlier." The grin appears on my face despite my best efforts in hiding it.

As I reach the porch, his hand comes out to grab onto my arm and playfully pull my body against him.

Kakashi's scent will always be my comfort. It's why I sleep with his shirts on every time he leaves.

"Everything go okay?" He's asks as I bury my face into his chest to inhale the familiar, mild woody smell that I treasure.

"Yeah, he's fine."

I look up at him as I rest my chin against his shirt. I wrap my arms around his midsection and give him a small squeeze.

"Looks like Keitaro will have a new friend soon enough."

Kakashi's eyebrows raise as he returns the hug, wrapping his arms securely around me.

"Doesn't exactly strike me as planned?"

I shake my head, twisting my lips into a frown.

"They'll be okay though."

I walk past him and inside the house, hearing him lock the front door behind me.

"Are the kids asleep?"

I look at the kitchen, surprised at how clean it is considering the mess I left.

"Mhm. I think they both had eventful days. They were out within the first half of the movie."

I chuckle at the thought of my little babies so excited for movie night and barely making it 20 minutes in.

Kakashi's warmth runs a chill up my spine as he presses himself against my back.

His left arm wraps around my belly and his other hand pulls my hair back from over my shoulder.
