Before Yeonjun could protest, his two good friends pushed him out of the aisles and it was too late to hide when Kai noticed him.
Kai immediately beams at him and Yeonjun is so gone, his feet move on their own.
“That's all?” Kai sweetly asked.
Yeonjun quietly nodded, giving him the money.
“Hmm. Do you mind donating for the puppies?”
“H-Huh? Puppies?”
Kai suddenly pouts. Her glossy lower lip protruded in a sad pout.
Wtf. Wtf. Yeonjun don't stare.
“Last night a good citizen found 6 abandoned cute puppies. They need help from kind people. I wish we could help them but the donation is still…” She looks down at the small box, whimpering. “... not enough.”
Unconsciously, Yeonjun took his wallet again. Pulling out 2 of his last paper money.
They need kind people . Yeonjun is kind.
“Take this and the change. Take it all.”
Kai gasped, her pretty hand flying to her tiny mouth.
“Oh my gosh. Thank you! You are totally so kind.”
Yeonjun almost jumped when Kai took his hand, squeezing it for 6.1 seconds.
“You are a hero. I absolutely admire a guy like you. I'm sure the puppies will be happy with your help. Do you mind if I ask for your name and your number? Such kindness needs to be known.” The sweetness of her voice surrounds Yeonjun's head. All he could see is Kai's pretty smile and her delicate hands handing a paper to write his name and his number. Oh God.
Kai is asking for his name and his number.
Did he do something so good before this moment? Quite suspicious but who cares.
“ Choi Yeonjun.” Kai reads the paper, smiling. “Choi Yeonjun ssi. I'll surely call you for an update for the puppies and I'll send you the address of the clinic later if ever you wanna see them. You're such a good guy, I'll never forget you.”
Choi Yeonjun ssi absolutely forgot to breathe the moment Kai winks at him.
