I take the wine out of my cupboard and pour some into my glass. I take a picture for Instagram.

I turn on [your favorite show] and rewatch it for, what feels like, the 100th time. After about 3 glasses, I didn't count, the wine was starting to get to me. Of course I ended up texting Billie.

Are you drunk? What are you doing?

You're definitely drunk.

I giggled and put my phone down, leaving her on read. I got up to go pour myself another glass of wine, but tripped on my pants.
I fell forward but caught myself on the edge of my counter. The counter sliced my hand open and cut my forearm. I stood there and cried out of pain. The cut wasn't deep enough that I needed stitches, though. But I was in too much pain and too drunk to wrap up my arm myself.
I waddled dramatically back over to my phone and called Finn.
"Hey, bitch! What's up?"
"Finn," I sniffled. "Can you come here please? I cut my arm."
"Honey, are you drunk?"
"Mhm." I started crying more.
"Okay, be there in a sec." He said and hung up the phone.
Five minutes later, I heard my door unlock and Finn call my name.
"I'm in my room!" I called to him, holding my arm to my chest. Luckily, I had no shirt on so I didn't have to worry about stains.
"I have the first aid kit." He said, sitting down beside me.
He cleaned off my arm and wrapped me up from my hand up to my elbow.
"I'm not going to tell you anything specific cause you're drunk as hell." He chuckled. "But I have to stick with my sleep schedule, do you have anyone else who can watch you?"
"I'm not a child, Finn. I can easily watch myself."
"You're act like a 6 month old child when you're drunk." He pointed to my arm. "My point proven."
"Don't bother Billiebae. I can take care of myself."
"Okay sure, Y/n." He took my phone off the bed and pulled up Billies contact. He stepped out of the room.
"Hey Billie, it's Finn. I need you to come watch Y/n, she's drunk again."
I heard some muffled words and thank yous.
"I'll see you later, bae." Finn said, wiggling his fingers bye. I heard him shut the door.
20 minutes later, I was still laying in bed staring at the ceiling, finally starting to fall asleep.
I woke up the next morning with a note and a glass of water by my bed.

Hey, I was here and I made sure you were dead asleep before I left. I'll see you soon. XOXO

I loved the little notes she left me. I slipped this one in my phone case too.
I checked the time, it was two hours before I was supposed to meet her. It was the perfect amount of time.
I took a quick shower and did some simple makeup, which took me only 30 minutes. Now it was time for the scariest part, the outfit.

luckily, we picked a place close enough to walk.
It took me 20 minutes to get there, so I was ten minutes early. I stood outside and waited for Billie for another 5 minutes. When she got out of her car, she was wearing one her best outfits I've seen her wear. It became my favorite.

"You're beautiful, oh my god." I complimented her.
She looked me up and down. "Wow. Absolutely stunning."
I hugged her and we went inside to order our coffee.
We brought our coffee out to the back of the building and sat down at the table for two people.
"So, about what you said yesterday." Billie said, taking a sip of her coffee. (Yes, it's vegan. Don't come at me.) "I can teach you how to love."
She looked me in my eyes and took my hand.
"How are you going to do that?"
"I'm not sure. But I will. And I'll do it by the end of summer."
"Woah, you're even setting a date. That's three months. I'm trusting you, Billie."
I didn't want to trust her on this, but I did.
