Landon only left the motel so Hope could catch up on sleep. He also wanted to go drink some more. He's never been fond of drinking but with all the cases he has going on, he's been stressed.

After taking maybe at least 6 shots, he stood up. He handed the bartender a tip and paid for his bill. He made his out of the bar and got into his car. Hope had called him. He missed it because he was busy with other things.

Landon called Hope back and Hope immediately answered. She sounded, worried he thought. Maybe they really were friends. He didn't think so after everything in high school.

Back in high school, Hope and him were together as well. He thought they were meant to be until she distanced. He didn't ask questions because anytime he did ask questions, he'd get a whole bunch of backlash.

Hope broke up with him and he later found out that Hope was usually out with Josie. At the time he thought that they were best friends. Then in the halls he saw Hope and Josie kissing in the halls. He became depressed and then eventually tried to get things right so he focused more on school. Helped Wade with whatever he needed. Landon was becoming a better person.

Anyway back to Hope and his phone call. "Landon, why didn't you answer earlier?" Landon knew this was about the job and not her actually caring. She had a tendency to do that. He never made sense of it until he found about about Niklaus and Elijah dying. That's when he noticed the change in Hope.

"I was out, doing some thinking. I'm sorry." Hope sighed and Landon frowned. He completely let her down.

"We were supposed to go see Josie. You said she could have some information." Landon nodded and realized she couldn't see him.

"Right. I'm on my way. I'll be there in 15. Don't wait up." Landon hung up before Hope asked more questions. He then started his car and began his drive to the motel.

After Josie and Lizzie having that nice conversation about Hope. Then Jade interrupting them, Josie thought it'd be nice to cook something for them.

She walked into the kitchen and Lizzie leaned on the counter. Josie knew Lizzie was there, Lizzie has been watching over Josie ever sense she arrived. She felt trapped in her own home.

"So Jo," Josie turned around and walked over to the recipe sheet,"I want to know what happened between you and Hope." Josie shrugged.

"Josie you can't keep it a secret forever." Josie finally looked at her sister. She can't believe that Lizzie was more interested in talking about the past. Their dad had just passed away and she wants to talk about Hope?

"Nothing bad nor good happened. We drifted and I don't understand why you want to talk about Hope when our dad literally died not even 24 hours ago."

Lizzie was surprised by this reaction. She knew the stages of grief were real, she just didn't think they'd come so fast. Josie would never act out like this.

"I was just asking a question. People grieve in different ways Jo. I'm just trying to make us not dread on dad dying. Maybe he deserves it."

Josie scoffed at the way Lizzie was talking about their dad.

"How could anyone deserve death Lizzie?" Josie turned back over to the mixing bowl and cracked an egg and put some oil in it. She wanted to make brownies.

"We both know how'd he get when he was drunk. Maybe this was Karma's doing and he drank himself to death."

Josie shook her head,"As much as he loved drinking, more than us he would never drink himself to death. He wasn't that reckless Lizzie."
