Hope cleared everyone away and walked up to the body. Landon walked up next to her and sighed.

"What if the person who's doing this is doing it so they can have you stay here longer?" Landon asked. Hope told him about the conversation with Jackson and that's what he came up with.

"Then it's working. I'm not going to leave this case unsolved. If Hudson gets mad at me for staying longer than that's on me. He knows I can't leave cases like these unsolved."

The police finally got there and did what they had to do. There was crowd wanting to know what happened. Hope looked at Landon.

"He fell from the roof, more like got pushed off but there was someone up there." Landon looked at Hope.

"Did you get a look at them?" Hope shook her head. All she knew was that they had black hair, so maybe it was Emma.

"All I saw was black hair. So let's say Emma did this," Landon nods,"Dorian and Emma were arguing, spying on us-"

Landon interrupted Hope,"Why would they spy on us?"

"Partners in crime is what they are or were on anyways. Let's say Dorian was going to turn himself in for killing Alaric," Landon nodded once more,"Emma didn't want that so she pushed him off that building up there."

Landon could tell where Hope was going with this but if Dorian wanted to turn himself in and not Emma than why would Emma kill Dorian.

"But if he wanted to turn himself in," Hope nodded," Then why would Emma want to kill Dorian? Wouldn't she want that so that way the police could shut this case down for good?"

"Maybe she wanted to go after all of Josie's close family members. She couldn't get to Caroline, nor Josette which is Josie's bio mom. So she went after Alaric first, he's the easiest to kill, give him a drink after drink after drink and you could basically stab the guy without him knowing." Landon nods.

"So what you're saying is that Josie is in trouble?" Hope didn't exactly know what she was saying.

"Not exactly, Josie wouldn't be dumb to take anything from anyone like that. She would make her drink, she's more cautious and her and Emma weren't close and Josie made sure of that." Hope replied.

"So if Alaric died by wine and getting stabbed, that means Emma was trying to get Alaric to spill his guts about Josie and where Josie lived but why would Emma want to hurt a former student? There's something missing."

Hope felt the same way. This case wasn't an easy one. She had former friends who were in this case. She still cared for them a lot and just wanted to comfort them. Speaking of comfort she had to go tell Josie about the death of Dorian.

"What could we be missing? We tried everything and we connected the dots. All these questions are for Emma to answer so I say we do our original plan. You go and talk to Emma but keep a gun on you at all times. You see anything that might be of use take her into the station." Landon nodded and left Hope.

Hope looked back at Dorian and walked away from the body. People asked questions but she didn't answer them. She needed to see someone first.

Hope was at Josie's for the second time today, she knocked and Jade answered. Hope smiled awkwardly at her.

"Is Josie here?" Jade shook her head," She said she was going for a drive to clear her head earlier."

Hope found that strange,"And by earlier, what do you mean?" Jade shrugged. Was Josie the one who killed Dorian? Josie couldn't hurt a fly back in high school. She wouldn't have killed anyone.

"Do you know where she could have possibly gone?" Jade frowned a little and shrugged once more. Jade was being more quiet than usual. It wasn't like her.

"May I come in?" Jade shook her head and she saw a glimpse of guilt or fear twinkle in her eyes.

"Okay well tell Josie to meet me at the diner. I'll be expecting her by 7PM." Jade nods and Hope said her goodbyes. Hope left and went to the school and wanted to be there for Landon.

Josie was coming home from working. She had to work because she couldn't take anymore days off. It wasn't like her, she used to always keep herself at work.

"Hope came by earlier and asked for you." Josie walked inside, ignoring the conversation. She didn't want to hear anything about Hope.

"Did you hear me hun?" Jade said and Josie looked at Jade. Josie nodded and continued to walk straight to the kitchen.

"She wants you to meet her at the diner by 7. She's expecting you. I'm sure it's about the case and whatever. Are you okay with everything?" Jade was worried for her wife. She didn't know what to do.

"Yeah, I'll meet up with Hope. Did Mg and his son make it down here yet?" Josie turned around and asked her wife.

Lizzie walked through, holding Mg's hand. Lizzie's son ran up to Josie and hugged her.

"Milton Jr, how have you been?" Josie asked while picking him up and hugging him. Milton Jr frowned, probably because he didn't really like his name. Mg chuckled because he understands the hatred for the name.

"He's not to fond of his name." Mg said and Josie looked at him. "Why not? It's a good name." Lizzie laughed at Josie's words.

"What's so wrong with Milton?" Josie asked. Lizzie grabbed a glass of water and sat on top of the counter.

"Not that it's a bad name but I don't think anyone would really like to be called Milton." Mg nods at Lizzie's words, agreeing with her like he'd usually do.

"Then why give Milton his name if he doesn't like it?" Josie out Milton Jr down. Milton ran off to Mg.

"Lizzie wanted to try to manifest as much of me into Milton as possible." Mg said as if it was a fact.

Lizzie denied it and Josie looked at the time. It was time to meet Hope at the diner. Hopefully she wasn't too late.
