She dreads this because it means she will have to see her family, so of which she still cares for like her mother, and some she wishes she could forget like her father.

Other: She used to live on Asgard with her family, until she noticed she would get no say on which warriors could or could not go into Valhalla. This caused an argument between her and Odin, with her mother trying to keep the peace. Her siblings all sided with her father and in a fit rage, she claimed she was going to live with the mortals and start making her own calls down there. None of her family believed her until she left and at the time rose through the ranks to become queen in her own right. Since the days of old, she has remained on earth now taking the name Hera and has refused to go back.
