Samael is neither good nor evil, he simply does what's best for him and he is one of the few demons who will tell you the truth, however, he can still withhold information, but when he speaks and gives his word, he means it. He lost his power after having a fight with Lucifer over their domains. Samael is one of the most powerful demons in hell, only second to Lucifer. If the horsemen show up to his door he has different reactions to them, to War he is serious, but blunt, with Strife he gets a laugh or two, with Death he makes her work for what she wants, with Fury he is still serious, but less serious than he is with war.
