Crossbow and Knives

Grave zone.

After carrying two females and burying their bodies in someone's long forgotten garden. Nicole stayed close to Daryl. She just like Daryl kept their distance from Rick. Though most of the group did now.

Seventeen days later

Noah told everyone about his family and a survival community they made within a gated community. The group thought it was a good idea to check it out, but with caution. Rick, Tyreese, Michonne, Glenn and Noah went off to find the community whilst the others stayed at home base. A small farming home where the garden Beth and Dawn are buried in. Maggie was still crying from her little sisters death. Carol had recovered enough to watch over everyone. Carl was with Carol keeping tabs with Rick. Sasha was doing better since Bob's death. Gabriel was just there. Eugene and Abraham weren't speaking and Rosita and Tara were talking to them.

Nicole and Daryl were watching over Judith inside the house in an upstairs bedroom. They three of them sitting on the bed in the room. Daryl was obviously sadden by Beth's death but Judith seemed to comfort him. "She's pretty cute, huh?" Nicole asked to break the long lasting silence between the two adults.

Daryl looked up to Nicole and nodded but stayed silent as he went back to playing with Judith. There was another long moment of silence.

"She must've been a miracle to be born in this world." Nicole added, again to break the silence between her and the archer.

"She is." He finally spoke.

It relieved Nicole that he replied, but noticed the frown that was forming on his face.

"She's our lil' ass kicker." He soon added with a cheerful tone opposite from his his facial features.

Suddenly Judith started to cry and squirm on the bed.

"Can I?' Nicole asked, offering to help calm Judith. Daryl nodded and Nicole gently picked Judith up and rocked her. Softlying hushing her and rubbing her back. Once Judith was calm she fell asleep and the Crossbow and Knives silently watched her. Hand in hand. At some point Carl entered the room and said he'd watch Judith. That's when Daryl got the idea to search for food. Nicole told him she'd join. They left the house and passed two graves before heading into the woods.

|| Awe they held hands!!! They finally get some quality time together. And now that they are alone.
