"I could feel your powers reaching out to mine the moment you stepped foot into Mystic Falls," Esther began. "It was like a power shift when you came here... As a result, the balance of Mystic Falls has been thrown off." Mariposa narrowed her eyes in suspicion; Esther appeared to be concealing something, as Mariposa's telepathy picked up on something.
"We need to work together," Esther resumed, "or we won't be able to get rid of all vampires."
Mariposa's pupils dilate. "Not while you're attempting to murder them," Mariposa said, referring to the Mikaelsons and Caroline. "I am not here to discuss alliances," Mariposa stated, avoiding the subject.
" Then why are you here?'" Ester drawled as she walked in a slow circle around Mariposa. "To talk about The Book of the Damned. Could it be that you don't know how to get back to your universe. Or did you come here intentionally?"
"Your aware of alternate realities?" inquired the younger witch. Mariposa had only known that different worlds existed when she arrived in Mystic Falls, but she had no idea Esther was aware of it.
" Yes, it's almost as if..." Ester paused as if she didn't know what to say.
"A multiverse," Mariposa concluded, her voice slightly lowered. Ester nodded in agreement, "How did you find out I'm not from here?"
Esther ignored her question,"If you won't help me, then I'll just have to make sure your not in my way," Esther calmly said, snapping her fingers, knocking Mariposa asleep.
