Eggman is seen flying in his egg mobile with his two minions, Orbot and Cubot. For the past two years, they have been flying across all of mobius, searching for something that Eggman thinks will allow him to finally defeat Sonic for good.
Eggman: "where is this thing, I've scoured all of mobius for two years now, it has to be around here somewhere."
Cubot: "hey boss, don't you think that it's time to throw in the towel. we've been looking everywhere and haven't found squat."
Orbot: "Also, don't you think that the legends of this thing are legends for a reason, it may not even be re.."
Orbot is cut off as Eggman turns around and slams his hands on the side of the egg-mobile.
Eggman: "Shut up you blithering buckets of bolts! I know this thing is real, and when I find it, I'll finally able to rid myself of that annoying blue hedgehog and his friends once and for all."
Eggman then let's out a laugh of both pride, and out of possibly going insane after trying to find a weapon that might not even be real.
Eggman: "Now then, lets continue. And like I said, once I find this thing we'll finally be able to defeat sonic and his friends once and for all."
Cubot: "you mind telling us what this thing is again, I forgot"
Eggman sighs in irritation as cubot asks this.
Eggman: "We are looking for the Scepter of Darkness"
Cubot: "ooooooh....what's that"
Once again eggman sighs.
Eggman: "This scepter is said to contain the powers of darkness itself, it has power that far surpasses that of Dark Gaia, and it is said that whoever wields this scepter will unleash chaos upon the world."
Cubot: "Quick Question...why don't you just use that ruby thing that that infinite guy had?"
Eggman "Why would I use that thing if it failed me the last time I used it.?
Cubot "uuuhh....because it almost worked"
Eggman slaps his face after hearing cubits stupid idea and they continue to search for the scepter of darkness.
Eggman "I assure both of you, once I find this scepter, Sonic and his annoying friends will finally be out of our way. They'll have no chance whatsoever against the powers that I shall unleash with the Scepter of Darkness."
Eggman lets out his maniacal laughter as they fly off to continue their search.
