Sonic the hedgehog: rise of Mephiles

Ambush

It's been days since the team left, and they have been flying all across mobius to find the other emeralds. They have been using the master emerald to locate them, but so far no sign of the emeralds has shown up. Inside the ship, everyone is relaxing and hanging out in the game room of the ship, while knuckles stays with the master emerald to know when it picks up signs of the emerald.
In the game room, Sonic and silver are playing a racing game and silver beats sonic, making sonic a little mad
Sonic "oh come on"
Silver "you may be the fastest thing alive in real life, but in games I guess you can call me the fastest thing on wheels"
Sonic crosses his arms and looks irritated that he lost to silver.
Moments later, knuckles feels something from the master emerald and instantly realizes what it's doing. Knuckles runs over burst from into the room where everyone else is and tells them that the master emerald found the location of one of the emeralds. The ship lands in a jungle area full of vine covered trees and is completely overgrown.
Everyone steps outside of the ship, and begin to plan out how they'll recover the emerald.
Tails "the emerald could be anywhere is this place."
Knuckles "well then how are we supposed to find it, there's no telling what could be lurking in this jungle.
Shadow "we should probably split up to cover more ground finding the emerald"
Sonic "good idea shadow, you and knuckles go together, tails and Amy your with me, silver your with blaze, Maria, cream and cheese you all stay here, there could be some robots around here, so if any show up, be ready, and sound the alarm, then we'll come back to help."
Sonic then looks over to Eggman, who is sitting at a computer.
Sonic "don't try anything funny while we're gone Egghead.  I still don't trust you being alone here.
Eggman "I assure you once again hedgehog, I have no intention of betrayal.  All of us are here for the same reason, which is to destroy Mephiles.  I'm only helping you until we reach that goal. So I have no reason to betray you until we're done with this mission."
Both Sonic and Eggman glare at each other, then everyone heads out.
Before Shadow leaves, Maria runs to shadow.
Maria "please be careful shadow"
Shadow "I will"
After that everyone heads out to search the jungle for the chaos emerald.
Elsewhere, Sonic, Amy and Tails are in the jungle trying down a path that covered in vines. As they wander through a dark part of the jungle where it's almost completely dark to the point where they can't see anything.
Sonic "tails you did bring flash lights or something right?"
Tails "of course I did"
Tails pulls out a flashlight and turns it on but when they see it they see a giant spider and they all run out of the other end screaming and they make out of the dark, and sonic and Amy tumble over each other as they stop, making the two hedgehogs blush.
Sonic "uh, are you alright Amy " sonic asks nervously.
Amy "y..yeah, I'm alright"
Sonic helps Amy up and them he three continue their way through the jungle, unaware that two members of the deadly six, Zeena, Zor, along with an army of buzz bombers are hidden and waiting for their moment to strike as they search for the others to pick them off one by one as they search for the emerald.
Elsewhere, silver and blaze make their way through the jungle as they search for the emeralds as well.
Silver "let's be careful, like Knuckles said, there's no telling what could be put here."
Blaze "right" blaze nods in agreement.
Silver suddenly stops, and notices something in a bush. Something shiny and red
Blaze "what is it, Silver?"
Silver " I think an emerald is in that bush. Give me a second"
Silver holds his hand out to use his psychokinesis, lifting the object out of the bush, only to see its one of eggmans crab badniks. Silver drops the crab and then it charges at his, latching onto his arm. Silver gets into a scuffle with the robot and he he rips it off with his psychokinesis, and then Blaze throws a fireball at it.
Blaze smiles, with a small giggle after helping silver.
Blaze "just as naive as ever. I don't think finding an emerald would be that easy."
Silver "I am not naive. Maybe your the naive one since you actually believed I was right about it being an emerald."
silver looks at blaze with a mocking smile.
Blaze "you had better take that back silver"
Silver chuckles "no, I don't think I will"
Then Blaze pinches his ear and he begs her to let go.
Silver "gah, ow ow ow ow ow let go let go let go"
Blaze "take it back and maybe I will let go"
Silver "okay okay okay, I take it back"
Blaze smiles "thank you silver. Now let's continue to search for the chaos emerald."
All of a sudden, Zor and Zeena come out of now where and blocked their path.
Zeena "surprise losers"
Silver "what are you two doing here"
Zeena "we heard about what your planning to do with those emerald thingies, and we've been sent to stop you"
Blaze "your going to have to destroy us in order to do that"
Zeena "that's just what we were planning, but we have to deal with your other friends too, we have our robots for that, but I don't wanna ruin my nails so I'm leaving you with Zor here"
Zor "oh sure Zeena, I'll take care of them, even though there's no point, it's all meaningless anyway."
Zeena "wow, you are such a downer"
Zeena leaves to find the emerald as silver and blaze prepare for their fight against Zor.

Shadow and knuckles make their way through the jungle and eventually stumble upon an open area in the middle of the forest and soon stumble across an army of badniks that Zor and Zeena brought along with them for back up.
Shadow "how did they know we were here"
Knuckles "mephiles must have known about our plan. since nazo is on his team he can hear through the emeralds"
Shadiw "how is that possible"
Knuckles "he was created from chaos energy just like chaos was, That means he might have some sort of connection to them, that lets him be able to sense where the emeralds are or even hear through them"
Knuckles begins to look worried and thinks to himself
Knuckles thoughts "this is bad, if mephiles knows about our plan he'll try to find the emeralds before we do, we have to hurry and get through these guys, we have got find the emeralds before they do."
Knuckles and shadow then smash their way through the badniks.

Sonic, Amy and tails also run into some badniks and Zeena has left everyone completely distracted as she goes off to search for the emerald.
Zeena "looks like all of those resistance losers are distracted. Might as well get this emerald thingy and get out of here."
