Sonic the hedgehog: rise of Mephiles

A couple of days have passed since the party, and shadow has enjoyed spending time with Maria.  The two have been inseparable ever since they were reunited, and everyone has started to wonder if they have actually started to fall in love with each other, but every time someone ask, they never say anything, though they show it with them blushing.
Tails has gone back to his workshop to make more inventions, and knuckles has returned to angel island to guard the master emerald.  The chaotix also went back to business with their detective agency, which some are amazed is still open.
(Sonic)

Sonic is out for one of his runs, and is zooming across mobius.  On his way, he almost runs into Amy, but stops just before colliding into her.
Sonic "oh, hey Amy."
Amy "hi Sonic."
Sonic and Amy kind of stare at each other awkwardly and are waiting for the other to say something. Sonic finally decides to speak up.
Sonic "I wanted to thank you again for the picture you gave me the other day
Amy "oh, well..your welcome."
Sonic "it really was a nice gift."
Sonic pauses and then thinks back to what tails said at the party
In head: tails 'why don't you just tell her how you feel."
Sonic then takes a deep breath and gets ready to tell Amy.
Sonic "hey Amy. There's something I've been wanting to tell you, for a long time now."
Amy "what is it, Sonic"
Sonic "ever since you gave me that picture, I've been thinking a lot about this. I've been wanting to get this off my chest for a long time. Ever since the war ended, and the level of threats to the planet dropped, I...."
Amy "sonic, please tell me what's wrong."
Sonic "nothing's is wrong it's just that...."
Sonic can't think for a moment but then finally tries to let it out.
Sonic "Amy Rose I lo..."
Just as sonic is about to confess to Amy, they both turn around after hearing a very raspy and high pitched scream from the sky.
Eggman is seen in the egg-mobile and crashes right infront of them, but sonic grabs Amy and jumps out of the way.
Eggman crawls out of the wreck, surprisingly not injured, and notices sonic and Amy infront of him.
Eggman "SONIC!!!" His voice cracks as he shouts.
Sonic and Amy "Eggman!!"
Eggman "great, now my day has gone from bad the worse."
Sonic "what are you doing here eggman, I thought you were gone for good since we beat you and won the war."
Eggman "I was, for a time. But right now I need your help. Please you've gotta help me Sonic!!!"
Eggman crawls over to Sonics feet and begs him to help him with his face buried in the ground as he wells up in tears.
Sonic "alright I'll help, just get up, show some dignity."
Eggman "oh, my apologies."
Eggman stand back up and straightens his posture to talk to sonic, although he is still shaking in fear.
Sonic "what could possibly be so important that you have to come crawling to me for help."
Eggman "believe me you annoying blue menace, you weren't my first choice, and most certainly not my last."
Amy "alright, just get to the point eggman."
Eggman "alright. Ahem...so, for the past two years since my humiliating defeat at your hands, I have been scouring the globe to find something that would help me defeat you once and for all. I discovered something known as the scepter of darkness which I believed would give me unstoppable power to defeat you for good. However, once I found the scepter, it wouldn't work, so I tossed it away."
Sonic "okay then, the weapon doesn't work, I don't know how to help you with that."
Eggman "that's not what I was talking about."
Eggman groans in anger as sonic interrupts.
Eggman "when I through the scepter into the shadows of the cave which I discovered it, I unknowingly unleashed a being who says that his name is Mephiles. He said that he was an ancient god of darkness. Had you been there, then you would understand why I am in such a panic!!!"
Sonic "so what exactly makes this my problem eggman.  It's sounds more like he's only after you for waking him up."
Eggman "Sonic, he is going to take over the world.  When I left I saw him bring back a few friends of ours from the past.  And by friends, I mean the most powerful villains that you have ever faced. He has resurrected Neo Metal Sonic, the deadly six, Nazo, and Infinite."
Sonic and Amy are shocked to hear this.  The strongest villains that sonic has ever faced are truly back from the dead, and are working for a villain who is a hundred times more powerful then them.
Sonic "Amy, call tails and knuckles. Tell them to get everyone from the resistance ready for this."
Just as sonic says this, they look up to see another object falling from the sky that lands a further away from them.  When the smoke clears, Mephiles is standing in-front of them.
Sonic and Amy look at Mephiles, and notice his appearance.
Amy "sonic, is it me, or does he kind of look like shadow."
Sonic nods in agreement to Amy, and Mephiles begins to approach them.
Mephiles "I believe that you are Sonic the hedgehog, and the other one is your friend Amy Rose."
Sonic and Amy are shocked that Mephiles knows who they are.
Sonic "how do you know who we are?"
Mephiles laughs "I have been watching you and your friends for a long time.  You are quite the hero from all that I've seen, but definitely nothing capable of defeating me."
Sonic "well just see about that pal"
Sonic charges up his spin dash and knocks into Mephiles, which actually manages to knock him back a few feet. Mephiles actually groans a little from the impact.
Mephiles "well, you actually managed to land an affective attack.  That was your last mistake."
Mephiles then charges at sonic and knocks him back, and then tries to attack Amy, but sonic manages to get up and grab her, and then proceed to runaway from the fight.  Mephiles then begins to pursue them, along with the other villains behind him.  As sonic and Amy are running, Amy uses a wrist watch to contact tails.
