Chapter 28

I woke up today my hair a complete mess my arms stretching above my head as I yawned and I looked towards the mirror

I look awful I thought to myself

I stood up walking towards my closet choosing out a plain white t-shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans with a leather jacket

I got into my clothes brushed my hair thoroughly and tied it back into a knot, I pulled out a pair of socks and a pair of shoes I slipped them on and walked downstairs to see Rachel and Teresa sitting together at the dining table

"Um hey?" I said a little surprised that she had came "hey!" She said eagerly and I sat down with them "so what are you doing here?" I asked teresa "well Rachel invited me over and I couldn't reject "I don't see why you don't hang out with Kelly as much as you used to" I stated and furrowed my eyebrows "it's a long story" she said I saw her eyes lower down slowly and Rachel nudged her softly "tell her what you came to do" Rachel said breaking the Ice "oh yeah I was going to do your makeup and all that stuff, you know for homecoming" she said and I shrugged my shoulders "make up int my cup of tea" I said and she nodded "I can see that" Rachel laughed but I rolled my eyes and sighed "well then what do you wanna do?" Rachel asked "I don't know watch a movie or something you know just relax for once" "that sounds like a good idea" I breathed out a smile tugging at my lips finally we got to actually do something relaxing for once "I'll get the snacks and drinks out Teresa wanna help while Jess sets up the TV and everything" Rachel asked "sure" Teresa said and I started to walk down towards the garage where all my memories lasted with all the guys it really sucked not being able to laugh like we used too I really want it back

I decided it was time to try and become friends with Natt but I wasn't sure how I was going to do that

I woke up for school getting dressed quickly into a pair of shorts and singlet top a pair if vans I ran downstairs towards the kitchen grabbing and apple then heading for the front door I opened it and it shut with a bang I ran to my car started the engine and started to drive fastly not over the limit though I was late for school I couldn't possibly be late I was never late

I drove into the parking lot at school quickly jumping out of the car locking it running to my first class I checked my timetable i had history first I ran upstairs towards the history room and fled into the class eyes on me I sat into my seat which just of course was next to Natt I got out my books and plopped them into the desk Natt was looking at me weirdly "what?" I said "why are you sitting next to me?" He said almost angrily "this is my seat" I snapped back he turned his head and I felt a smirk appear on my face but I also thought if how this was not going to be easy

Half way through the lesson I leant towards him and whispered "so are we ever gonna be friends?" I asked and he turned to face me his expression was unreadable I stared at him and he answered "you tell me" he said and I felt my heart beat through my chest this was the first step towards my friendship with Natt "well my vote is yes" I said "prove it" he said and I racked my brain trying to think if something to prove to him that I wanted to be his friend "well for starters I have been hanging out with a cheerleader I've been a complete mess without you guys and I miss the times when the guys would come over" I said and he tilted his head "i need more something that would really get my attention" what was his attention to any way?

Football

"You need me for the regionals" I said and I knew what to say "I can't back out know neither can I go to regionals knowing my team isn't cooperating or communicating like we used to, I remember when we were all close friends it was good the team was also working together but since the fight we never really talked or knew what was going on so the answer is football we need to be friend because if it" and with that he gave me a reassuring smile a smile I knew to well "welcome back to the team" he said as if I had left the team to begin with "glad to be back but what about Wesley does he forgive me or anything?" I asked "you'll need to find that out for yourself" he answered and I sighed my shoulders loosing like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders it felt good

Late that night I sent out a text to Wesley

"So hey" I texted

"Hi" he replied

The text was simple but he had answered my eyes widening my jaw dropping he actually talked to me

"Are we friends or anything?" I asked

"Well that's a hard one I mean a lot of stuff had happened"

"Yeah I know it's just I miss you and the guys" I said

"Tomorrow we will talk" he said

And I didn't text back I just turned my phone off and lay my head down on the pillow

Could it be possible I was regaining the trust back of my friends better yet my team?
