Chapter 12

(This is Jessica, is she what you imagined?)
The day after Lucy's funeral it was like nothing had ever happened as of she never died

I sat with the guys at the lunch table sitting next to Trent and Jamie their laughter filling my ears making me slightly happy

They were making fun of how the cheerleaders dropped Teresa one of there flyers onto the ground at the last game I started to laugh and I felt a hand on my shoulder it was Teresa

All the boys instantly shut up trying not to burst into laughter

"You know you don't have to act like your not talking about me" teresa finally said

"I need to see you after you've done laughing at me"

I nodded my head and she left the guys started to get serious

"What just happened?" Jack asked

"I honestly don't know" I replied

"I need to see Teresa after this"

"I wonder what she wants" weasly said

"Yeah I wonder" I replied

"I bet she wants to talk about cheerleading" Jamie stated

"Cheerleading? Are you serious?"

"Yeah actually I am"

"For once"

Weasly chuckled and Jamie rolled his eyes

"Come on, maybe they want you on the sqaud"

I chocked on my fries laughing so hard

"Me? A cheerleader I don't think so" i was laughing so hard I was going to cry

I looked around to find Teresa their she was at the table they normally sit at or as the school calls it the 'the popular table'

Teresa saw me and jumped to her feet prancing over to me in her cheerleading dress

"So what do you want?" I asked curious

"Kelly, she thinks that your not capable of being a cheerleader"

"It's only shaking your ass"

Teresa rolled her eyes

"What she's proposing is that we have a switch"

"A switch?"

"Yeah a switch Kelly is the qauterback and your the head cheerleader"

"Kelly the qauterback?"

" I don't think so" I said

"But there's a bet that comes with it"

"What is it?"

"Well we were going to have a vote if whoever got a better vote and whoever win gets the right to brag and public humiliation"

I smirk surely I could win this

"Your on"

While we were in gym class I walked over to Weasly while we were playing a round of dodge ball

"I made a bet"

"A bet?"

"Yes and if I win it get bragging rights and public humiliation on Kelly Chang"

"Really?"

"Yes but it's worth it"

"I guess, so what's the bet"

"Well I've gotta be the head cheerleader and Kelly's has gotta be the qauterback"

"Woah woah hold up"

I shrug my shoulders

"Jess you've got this in the bag"

I laugh and slap his arm

"You had me nervous for a second"

I said and saw a red ball coming towards me I turn quickly and catch it getting out a random guy I didn't know

Then Wesley got out

It was just me and...

I looked over to see Kelly on the other side

I smirk we were both holding a dodge ball I run up to the middle if the court and throw it hard at her and not knowing were it was going to end up I got her face

She fell face first on the cold ground

Everyone began to laugh as she got up her hair was a mess she didn't look all that good she ran to the bathroom while everyone laughed at her

"Oops" I said grinning

Once gym class was finished I went over to the girls bathroom nod saw jelly standing at the mirror reapplying her makeup after gym class

She turned and saw me folding her arms

"Here to make fun?"

"Nope just here to change out of my gym clothes"

I said and entered a locker getting changed and left

When I got home I called the guys and asked them to come over

Once they all arrived we went down to my room and I stood on the table that had my school work neatly organized I started to announce across the room

"We have made a bet with the she devil herse-"

I was cut off by mum

"Um I was coming to see if you wanted pizza"

"Yes we want pizza"

"Wait what bet?"

"Just a bet mum nothing to be worried about"

"Can I know?"

"Sit and listen"

I continued

"A bet with the she devil herself Kelly Chang, I must become a cheerleader and come up with an amazing routine and she must win the football game in order to win people will have the last vote and we need to come up with a plan to beat her at her own game"

"wait your going to be a cheerleader?"

"Yes mum yes I am" I said and started to dance on the table"

"Good luck with that, what pizza do you guys want"

"Meat lovers" we all called out

"Of course" mum said and left
