You were so excited because you just bought tickets for you and your s/o to go your favourite artist's concert. The concert was in a week, and just so happened to be on you and your s/o's 6 month anniversary.
Since you told them about the tickets, though, they had been acting very distant around you. You shrugged it off and just assumed it was because of stress. The night before the concert, you went over to their house with a gift to surprise them and hopefully relieve some of the stress they've been feeling. You knocked on the door but got no answer. Weird, you thought. The light was on in their room and their car was in the driveway. You accidentally hit the doorknob and the door opened.
It was open the whole time?? Something isn't right, you thought as you hurried up to their room.
You opened the door to their room and almost dropped your gift in shock. Your s/o was making out with the lead cheerleader at your school. You just stood there and muttered "wow" and walked away. Your s/o chased you out the door and you just walked to your car and didn't look back. You held in your tears until you got to your room, and once you closed the door you just broke down.
Our 6 month anniversary is tomorrow!! How could they do this? you sadly thought, and you eventually went to bed to try to sleep away the sadness and shock you felt.
The next morning you woke up sad but a little bit excited for the concert tonight. Although you and your s/o weren't going together, you hoped that going by yourself would cheer you up and help you forget about what you saw them doing last night.
You spent the whole day with your bff on the phone (they were on vacation, so that's why they weren't there with you or coming to the concert with you) and you got into a cool outfit.

You arrived at the venue and had to wait in a long line outside before the concert started. You got there at a good time, meaning that once you got inside the venue you would be relatively close to the stage. You were standing alone in the line when a girl walked up to you.
"Omg! We're wearing the same shoes!!" She exclaimed, pointing at your Vans.
You chucked. " No way, that's so funny!! Oh, I'm y/n, are you here alone?"
"I love that name! I'm Riley, and no, I'm here with my boyfriend James and his younger brother Hunter," she explained.
"Where are they?" you asked.
"They are right there!" She said, pointing to two boys walking towards you.
The taller one, who you figured out was James, went straight to Riley and gave her a forehead kiss. He noticed you and gave you a wave. "Hey. I'm James. This is my younger brother Hunter" he said, pointing to the boy with the longer hair standing beside him.
Holymoly, you thought, he is one good looking boy.
He waved and walked over to you, letting Riley and James have some privacy.
"Hey," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. He looked nervous.
"Hi," you replied. "I'm y/n, nice to meet you," you said with a smile. "How did you end up third-wheeling tonight?" you asked with a laugh.
He smiled back at you. "Riley loves this artist and freaked out when she figured out that they were coming to our city, and she knew I love them too, so she bought me a ticket. At first I was worried that I would be third-wheeling all night, but now I have you and I know this night is going to be awesome." He said while nudging you with an elbow.
You looked down and blushed.
You two spent the next little while getting to know each other. He told you that Riley and James met in grade 9 and have been dating for 7 years. Hunter, on the other hand, was a hopeless romantic who was your age.
Eventually you got to the doors and the four of you found a great spot to stand. You were in the middle of the room near the right side, so you had a great view of the stage and had a lot of room to dance.
During the concert, Hunter and you were singing and dancing the whole time. You never stopped smiling and laughing, and he didn't either. During one of the slower songs, Hunter grabbed your hands and you guys danced together. It was so sweet.
At the end of the concert they drove you home since you took a taxi to the concert. You and Hunter held hands in the backseat. Once you got to your house, Hunter walked you to the door, and once you guys were hidden from the car, he gave you a small kiss on the lips.
"Thank you for an amazing night, hopefully we can do it again soon," he whispered in your ear while giving you a piece of paper with his phone number on it.
You guys smiled at each other as he walked back to the car and you waved goodbye to everyone as they drove away.
You happily ran to your room and flopped onto your bed, smiling. You immediately texted Hunter and he replied the second you pressed send, and eventually you guys made plans to hang out the next day at your favourite coffee shop.
