Chapter 2: Turning West

It's the first day of school after the summer, I'm not exactly looking forward but I'm happy that I will get to see Kale, we see each other almost everyday but in school he is the one who is there for me and makes everything better. I immediately get out of bed and shower then I get ready. I curl my hair and put make up on. I forgot to do my bag last night, shit, I'm going to be late. I swear I'm the only one who could be late on the first day. I grab a few notepads, my pencil case, purse, file, phone, headphone and my car keys. I ran down the stairs and sure enough my parents had already left and Amanda was already in school. I will have to skip breakfast but I will feed Pongo.

I ran out of the door after feeding Pongo and got into my car. I drive off, school is around 25 minutes away. I go a little faster to make sure I'm not too late, I mean I don't need to be on report on the first day. I get there just in time and as I got out of the car the bell rang which symbolised registration, but this also meant I missed hall, which means I have no idea where registration is. I took my phone and dialled Kale.

"Hey Liv where are you?" He asked

"Never mind, which class are we in?" I panted as I ran inside.

"Room 32" he said and I hung up and made my way to registration.

I got there and they were already in there but he door was open, there was no teacher in there, this was the psychology room, where Mr Edwards was. I saw Kale he was waving all camp style, which made me laugh,  I went over and sat next to him.

"Hey!" He said laughing "trust you to be late in the first day Liv"

"I Know right, forgot to make my bag last night!" We laughed and talked for a while until we heard the door slam.

Oh wow...

The goddess in front of me placed her steaming mug on the desk and placed her bag on the hook, she looked up and smiled.  

"My name is Miss Cate West, I will be your registration teacher for this year,  and for some of you lucky ones I may also be your psychology teacher" she was gorgeous. Ice blonde hair, mesmerizing blue eyes, perfect.

"Your drooling Liv" Kale punched me in the arm and laughed, I laughed too and then she carried on talking.

"We are going to be in this class for the whole of first lesson, we need to do your timetables and I want to get to know my registration class" a knock on the door. She walked to the door, and opened it, I realised that I wasn't the only one who was drooling, half of the class was, and I wasn't surprised.

"I have your timetables, I will come around one by one and give them to you and I will ask you one question about yourself and you can ask me one question" she said making her way to the front row. I could hear Kale next to me laughing but I couldn't help but watch her.

Some of the boys were laughing and shoving each other, which meant she had owned them or they had asked her a stupid question as per usual, I instantly panicked at what she was going to ask me, and what I was going to ask her. Before I know it my daydreaming left me jumping out of my skin as she made her way to Kale, which meant I was next. SHIT. She looked down at the paper.

"So you don't look like an Olivia, you must be Kale?" The way she said my name. 

"The one and only" trust him. I was just dying to say, 'he acts like an Olivia' but I bit my tongue.

"What is your favourite subject Kale?" She asked

"Chemistry" he said grinning and then tilted his head towards me sarcastically, I put my head down and shook my head and smiled, he's such an arse.
