"Bloom? As in..."

"Yes, as in Olivia Bloom" she said.

"Who are you? " I asked.

"I'm your Auntie, your dad's sister, I worked for them" I wasn't following this.

"My dad doesn't have a sister"

"There's something you need to know Olivia, about this whole layout. Your parents here, aren't your real parents" I must have looked like a complete idiot.

"What do you mean, they aren't my birth parents?" Makes sense.

"No. Your parents were Kendrick and Susanna Bloom, they were very important when you were born, they still are. Olivia, they died shortly after you were born"

"I'm still not understanding. What exactly is happening?"

"When they died, they told me to protect you, the only way I can do that is by keeping my distance. Your parents were very important within the science and technology field. There is a lot of people who wanted their blood" she said.

"You have been watching me ever since I was little? I'm guessing they were murdered?" she nodded.

"The people who tried to kill you, killed them, they are extremely dangerous Olivia. You need to stay vigilant, especially when the cop upstairs isn't around. She is someone you need to stay with. There are others in your life that are also protecting you, people you wouldn't even dream of".

"Who are these people then?" I asked.

"They are known as Aztec. They wanted your parents technology. The technology that I am finding hard to find. They hid it somewhere that only you would know"

"I have no idea where this technology thing is"

"I know, everything is new to you" There was a noise upstairs. "The cop is up, I have to go Olivia, but you have to listen to me, I will be in touch" she handed me a phone. "Stay safe". She left.

Jesus Christ, this was getting worse by the minute.

"Olivia are you alright?" Julia asked while coming down the stairs.

"I'm fine, just forgot some things" she nodded and went back upstairs.

This was going to get my brain in a twist for a while. Who are these people that I live with? Do they know anything about this? Obviously I am adopted, but are they in on this too? I've never trusted my parents, this kind of explains why, I always knew something wrong. She was right, I had to listen, but I was going to read Kale's journal word by word, I can guarantee you he knew something.

I made my way up the stairs and went to bed. I was just going to sleep when my phone buzzed. It was Bailey. He mailed me on Facebook to ask me to his Halloween party. He's so nice, no wonder Kale liked him. I answered back.

"Thanks for the invite! I will see if I can find an outfit that will go with my cast, it's kinda hard to move around at the minute😊"

I had no idea if I was going to go, could I go? I had a few friends in school but not enough to go to a party. It would be so embarrassing to be standing around on your own. To be honest he didn't even say where it was, or when it was.
