Chapter 9
I'm Very Sorry

Next day, Lisa gloomily got ready and left for college. The pain she felt was unbearable, she even consider to take a leave but jerked those thoughts away, because she had to work hard for the scholarship as well and attendance really matters for her scholarship.

After reaching her class, she silently sat on her bench and lifted her head up to glance at his seat. It was empty. She looked at Areum's seat, it was also empty.

She knew that the two of them must be together by now. She really wanted to avoid this strange feeling that covered her heart at the thought of him with Areum, but she couldn't.

"Hey, why are you looking so sad today?" Rosé asked as she sat beside her. Lisa chuckled, thinking that even her face can't hide her emotions, but her little laugh had a tone of sarcasm that confused Rosé.

"Nothing. Just, on my periods." Lisa lied, trying to make the situation normal. Rosé nodded her head in acknowledgement. Both of the them started to chat casually about their daily stuffs and soon the teacher arrived.

Throughout the classes, lisa couldn't help but continuously glance at the two empty seats in the front row.

After completing her lunch with Rosé, she came out of the cafeteria and went to the library.

Surprised would be an understatement, Lisa was totally startled when she saw Jungkook present in the library. It wasn't a place he belonged to. He was never interested in books than how come he's here today?

Jungkook was still unaware of her presence and Lisa slowly moved towards him, he was leaned over a book shelf, only when she got more closer, she found another female figure, leaning close in his arms. It was Areum. Ofcourse.

Even though Jungkook's hands didn't touched the woman, his lips were curved in a sinister smirk, that he often gave her.

Lisa felt an inexplicable ache in her heart and quickly turned around, changing her route. "I don't do promises." His words echoed in her ears and she didn't knew when she bumped her head against a book shelf, attracting alot of attention.

She hurriedly rubbed her forehead and looked around, to apologise for disturbing everyone, but soon her gaze collided with his, the playful smirk he had was gone and his face was covered with a worried expression.

Lisa looked away and ignored him like thin air, before moving towards the corner of the library. She sat on the last bench and pulled out a random book. Unusually, she wasn't in a mood to study today and was here just to laze around because her pain was distracting her too much.

After a few minutes passed, Lisa felt the seat beside her was occupied. Raising her head, she looked up, only to find him, looking at her with a sly smile.

She looked around, her curious gaze scanning the whole library before looking back at him, Areum was no where to be seen. No wonder he came here!

Lisa sighed and concentrated back on her book. Seeing her ignoring him, Jungkook frowned and tapped his fingers on her shoulder. She didn't respond, so he grabbed her hand that was flipping the pages of the book.

"Why? Why are you ignoring me now?" Jungkook frowned, and didn't let go of her wrist. Lisa still ignored him while trying to free herself from his grip.

"That just now with Areum, are you upset about it?" Jungkook felt her wrist in his grip tightening as he asked. He carefully studied her expression, it was stiff. She wasn't reading anything now and her other hand kept on her thigh was fisted.

"Listen... Me and her... We just-"

"Not interested!" Coldly spatting two words, Lisa jerked his hand away and took her book before walking away from him.

She didn't took even four steps when a hand grasped her waist from behind and pulled her back with a thud. Lisa's breathing became unnatural and she tilted her head to glance at him.

'These ugly eyes of yours! I hate them the most! Why do they always looks at me with such warmth?!'

Lisa couldn't help but sneered at her own thoughts. Jungkook confusedly kept looking at her before his hand slowly moved downwards from her waist to her lower abdomen. Lisa's eyes widened and she glared at him angrily.

Just as she started to struggle to free herself from him, he whispered a few magical words in her ear, that made her numb to the core, "Does it still hurts?"

'Ofcourse it hurts! It fcking hurts so much you jerk!'

Lisa rolled her eyes again, feeling extremely irritated and continued to free herself. "It must be hurting so much. I'm sorry."

'This irritating bunny smile with these puppy eyes! You jerk! I hate you the most! Only if you wouldn't have that video! God!'

Lisa continued, still failed. She sighed and gave up. Jungkook chuckled in her ear and tightened his grip. His hands gently caressing her abdomen covered with clothes.

Lisa closed her eyes and didn't said anything. Both of them stood there silently in the silenced corner of the library. After a while, she felt his chin over her shoulder blade, his hands still caressing her skin, as if pampering her with utmost care.

"Lisa... You are indeed a good girl. I shouldn't have done this to you." Lisa opened her eyes, and silently stared at his hands over her stomach. His voice was very gentle, even gentler from the time he used when they made love.

"I'm very sorry." He whispered again, his head burying in her neck deeper and deeper. "But I can't help it." Lisa could feel the change in his voice, the playfulness was long gone. Right now hugging her like this, he sounded like a small scared child, who was afraid to lose his favourite doll.

Lisa knew she was nothing but a doll in his hands. He might even throw her away after he'll be bored with her. But still, she still wants to comfort him.

In the 22 years of her life, she had never been this close to any other guy. She remembered having a crush on a guy in her high school. He was not as handsome as Jungkook, not as rich as Jungkook either. Infact, she didn't liked rich and popular guys like Jungkook, she always wished for a kind boyfriend, who will only love her and respect her.

When meeting Jungkook, her perspective for a boyfriend changed. She unknowingly developed a crush on him even after knowing his playboy personality.

He was a total opposite of the type of guys she used to like. But still, only he has made her feel the things she never even thought in her dreams.

Lisa couldn't help but accept her admiration for him. Even if he would throw her away someday, she would still, helplessly like him, like any other girl of the College.

"I'll not come to you, until you forgive me." Jungkook sounded honest, but Lisa still felt the urge to mock him. So she chuckled and asked, "Really?"

Jungkook moved his face closer to hers and softly placed a peck on the side of her chin, before murmuring a 'hm' in her ear. Lisa shuddered in his arms and looked away. "Let's see then." She hurriedly freed herself from his hands and walked out of the library, without looking back him again.

Jungkook stood there, watching her back until it wasn't visible in his sight. He sighed looking down at his shoes and a faint smile appeared on his lips. "Help me control." He wished with closed eyes, a sly smile still shining on the corner of his lips.
