Chapter 10
Kim Mingyu

After completing her classes, Lisa hurriedly packed her stuff and left the school. Throughout the whole way from her college to the café, Lisa's mind was muddled up with the lines Jungkook used.

Even while doing her work in the cafe, her eyes kept glancing at the door to find a trace of him. But he was nowhere to be seen, neither his gang. Looks like he was really trying to resist, Lisa was relieved.

"Lisa, Mrs. Charles is looking for you." Minnie told with a worried expression and Lisa's complexion immediately went pale. What did I do now?

"Did anything happened?" Minnie asked with a worried tone. Lisa shook her head and told her, "I don't remember doing any mistakes lately. I don't really know why she is calling me." Lisa said, looking a little afraid.

"You go, I'll stay outside and see if something is wrong." Minnie comforted Lisa who nodded her head and moved towards Mrs. Charles personal cabin.

"Mrs. Charles, did you asked for me?" Lisa's fingers fiddled with nervousness. Mrs. Charles looked up at her and nodded her head. "Here take this." A white packet was threw on her and Lisa barely managed to catch it. She looked at the heavy white packet and instantly made out that a good amount of money was inside the packet. "Mrs. Charles, what is this?" Lisa asked, still confused.

"The overtime you did in the last three months, and some bonus cash. You are not the only one who's being paid, I'll give one to the cook and Minnie too. So don't think too much and do your work more professionally if you want to keep working here." Even though Mrs Charles words were cold and rude, Lisa still felt a gush of warm air surrounding in the ice-cold room of her boss.

"Thank you so much Mrs. Charles! I promise I'll do my work more professionally!" Lisa chirped with excitement and bowed before taking her leave. Mrs. Charles smiled faintly and continued her work.

The next day, Lisa got a call from her mother. "Lisa, did you transfer so much money in my account?" Lisa's mother asked confusedly. "Yeah, I did. I just got some bonus cash from Mrs. Charles. So I transferred it to your account. You needed some money for aunt's check up right? And since you're not going to work from so long because of aunt's health, use the rest of the money for your expenses." Lisa said, while munching on the lightweighted breakfast she made for herself.

"But it's your salary. You also need your expenses. Why did you transferred all the money in my account?" Lisa's mother was worried that her daughter might again ignore her own needs to fulfill her mother's needs.

"I don't have to spend much on myself. I just want some money for my monthly fee. For that, I get my monthly salary from Mrs. Charles, so no need to worry." Lisa shrugged smilingly, already imagining a small smile on her mother's face.

"But every one still needs some expenses for themselves. Lisa, please next time you-"

"I'm getting late, I'll hang up now!" With that, Lisa didn't let her mom continue and disconnected the call.

When she was walking in the corridors to go to her class, she was emerged in deep thinking and that resulted into her bumping against someone.

She rubbed her forehead and looked up to see a handsome guy, rubbing his chin, exactly where she crashed her head.

She apologetically looked at him before bending down to pick his books from the floor. "I'm really sorry. I didn't noticed you coming. Really very sorry." Lisa looked up when she handed him his books.
