Chapter 2
The saviour

Lisa tightly clenched her fist to control herself. She was so enraged on them, especially on him who was right now laughing his ass off looking at her face.

But she knows if she would take even a single or small action against him, he can make her life hell. She would be a 'known' in his eyes which she never wanted in her life.

Jungkook is a dangerous man. All knows that. Besides his jerk and playboy personality, he holds a big position in their college. His dad was the trustee and holds a powerful business background. While she was just a poor girl who's doing a part time job along with her studies to keep her life intact.

"What the hell is going on here?" Lisa flinched hearing her boss, Mrs Charles yelling from her back. She immediately turned around, looking at her boss with a poor look, silently asking her boss to take an action for her.

Mrs Charles scanned her appearance and then glared at the group who was still giggling behind Lisa. "May I ask what kind of a behaviour is this? How can you behave like this with my employee?" Mrs Charles surprisingly took an action for Lisa.

Lisa smiled lightly seeing her boss who stood beside her glaring at the group of jerks. Minnie too came out and immediately ran to console her friend.

"What can we do? Your employee misbehaved with us." Jungkook came in front to save his friends and himself. His arrogant and rude aura somewhat scared a few people including Lisa who tried to hide herself behind her boss's back.

"What did she do?" Mrs Charles asked in her usual cold and scary voice but Jungkook was way too much scary than her. Jungkook turned to take a look at his friends who seems quite enjoying the drama going on, however a particular friend, Park Jimin secretively winked at Jungkook who smirked before turning back to Mrs Charles.

Lisa got stiffened as she noticed how Jimin winked at Jungkook. She somewhat knew what was going to happen and so her body trembled under Minnie's hold. Minnie swiftly rubbed her arms to calm her but she was too focused on Jungkook that she couldn't feel anything but fear.

"You see, we are six here, but your employee... she bought only four cokes and four burgers. I mean, when we ordered for six people then why did she bought only four?" Mrs Charles calmly listened to him and Lisa jolted seeing him.

How can he say that? Areum was the one who said 4 burgers with 4 cokes. Than why are they doing this now?

She looked behind him only to find Jimin and Areum smirking at her evilly. Mrs Charles turned around and glared at Lisa who lowered her head feeling extremely scared. "What the hell is this Lalisa?" She roared and Lisa, along with Minnie shivered seeing her.

"Boss.... please trust me. I... I wrote what they ordered. I'm not... lying!" Lisa stuttered with her head hung lowered. She was at the verge of crying and Minnie continued to rub her shoulders to calm her.

"Enough!" Mrs Charles yelled loudly. Lisa flinched and tightly clutched Minnie's hand. "I have enough of your drama now! From now on! You don't have to come here for the job! You're fired Lalisa Manob-"

"Wait!" Just as Lisa was ready to face her poor faith again, she heard Jungkook interrupting Mrs Charles in between. She slowly tilted her head and glanced at his clenched fist, as if he was refraining himself from doing something. With confusion, she looked more up and glanced at him with her glistening eyes.

"Ahm; there's no need to fire her. You can just... give her a warning for not repeating such mistakes." Jungkook cleared his throat before explaining. Looking here and there to avoid his friend's wierd looks.

"See, Such a noble man he is! You have to apologise to them for the inconveniences you caused them!" Mrs Charles ordered Lisa who wiped her tears with the back of her hands and prepared an apology in her mind, though unwillingly. She knew she wasn't at fault but still she will apologize. After all, she didn't wanted to lose this job like this.

"I-"
"No need!"

She looked up with her tearful eyes to glance at Jungkook who was still clenching his fists and looking at her with much softer face this time. She continued to confusedly stare at him.

"What the hell Kook? We deserve an apology and she has to apologise to us!" Areum stood up and came to stand beside Jungkook, glaring at Lisa.

Lisa sighed and again opened her mouth to apologise but before she could even let out a word this time, Jungkook was fast enough to shut her up as well as Areum.

"I said no need!" Lisa looked up at him again and this time he was glaring at Areum with his burning gaze at which she lowered her head and looked away feeling restless.

Jungkook silently took his bag and walked out of the cafe and his friends along with Jimin and Areum followed him outside. Lisa confusedly stared at his retreating back.

Why did he did that if he didn't wanted my apology? Is he a psychopath?

Mrs Charles glared at her before finally going away and Lisa heaved a sigh in relief. "Lali, are you okay?" Minnie rubbed her head and she nodded silently before hugging her.

After completing her shift, Lisa was finally on the way to her home when she felt some footsteps behind her. The streets were already darkened because it was already late night. She tightly clutched her bag in her hands and paced her speed.

Lisa crossed her fingers, praying to all the Gods to save her this time. Can this day get anymore worst? She continued to walk trying to avoid the footsteps approaching her fastly m

Lisa was by now almost running when she heard a screeching sound in front of her. Stopping in her tracks, she opened her eyes and saw a Yamaha R15 black model stopped right in front of her.

She looked up and saw the man sitting on the bike was wearing a helmet only his eyes were visible. She confusedly stared at him standing there stiff on her place.

"Are you intentionally planning to get robbed off by that thief? Come on, hop on!"
