"I'm really scared, can we just go back?" I asked in fear

Anna pulled me, "Hey it's okay, I heard the watchman will be taking a break this time for dinner, let's just go inside and see what's inside those dark rooms."

I never imagined I would find myself on an adventure like this. It's 9 o'clock in the evening. After school Anna asked to meet near the café at 8:30, I said OKAY, thinking it was more of a "not-a-date" date, then before I hung up she asked me to bring a torch and a cap. Though I didn't ask why

After arriving at the café at 8:30, I found her waiting for me for 10 minutes. She asked me if I got the torchlight and cap, just as she said. The two things I gave her, she said I should keep them myself since she has her own. She was wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans, even in the night, her gleaming face was so beautiful. I thought we would go into the café, but she told me to follow her as she walked towards the entry sign of our town. When she walked past, I stood still and she asked why I wasn't going with her. I was embarrassed to say that I fear that road because there won't be any vehicles passing and there is no light at this time, so I am afraid of darkness. She laughed.

She said, "Don't worry William Rivers, I will guide you and stand by you if some ghosts come our way." she walked by holding my hand.

"Can you at least tell me where we're going?" I asked

With a ghostly voice, she said, "An adventure"

"You're done," I said to myself

We are standing at the gate of an abandoned factory that no one in the area will travel on because it does not have streetlights and people say it is haunted. I never really thought about it until now, because none of the boys and I have ever ventured inside of it at night. I was so terrified the whole way here, but I see Anna, she is not even frightened a little bit. She is so excited to see what's inside. Apparently, she saw this factory while coming into town from the city and has been waiting to go inside with someone. I'm aware of her interest in horror novels and movies, but I do not know whether she is so interested that she can enter one of the haunted buildings (as the locals say).

I never imagined that I would be drawn to a place like this late at night with a girl. The windows are all cracked and have holes in them. The entire compound wall seems to be drained. The place where I stood was still and silent as I stared in awe at the monstrosity before me, with a girl I like and the only person I could trust at the time beside me. As Anna said or heard, the watchman will be taking a break at this time for dinner. We are just about to get into that creepy factory. I feel the need to pee.

"Okay, then you wear your cap and bring your torchlight. Let's go inside and see whether there are ghosts as they say and make a conclusion whether this factory is haunted or just abandoned." Said Anna looking at my sweaty face

"Is this really necessary?" I asked

Then she began walking towards the entrance and said, "Yes, just come."

The monstrous building caught my attention once more. My eyes unwillingly took a glance at one of the windows. Moonlight reflected from the pieces of glass. The torn curtains hung and waved to the soft breeze. Should I have agreed to this?

"Just come already," said Anna with an angry expression

My response was, "Coming!"

I gulped. My throat tightened.

I prayed that we would not come across ghosts.

We stepped inside the gate of the factory. Within seconds, Anna got more excited and was walking fast towards the main door. I was trying to keep up with her, but my bones and body were frozen with the cold breeze and the chills this place gave me. Many times I tried to stop Anna, but she refused to listen. We walked to the main door and tried to open it, but it was locked.
