An Endless Date

Chapter I

My name is William Rivers.
This is my story.

It was those mornings I used to curse my brother for waking me up so early with his MJ playlist in his little stereo. We used to fight to decide who's gonna sit in the front seat on the way to school and back home. But sometimes dad used to have more work, so he'd tell us to go home by bus. As the younger, I should listen to my brother and follow his silly rules while walking on the road. Whenever dad won't come to pick us up in the evening, means a lot to Max. Cause he can spend some more time with his girlfriend. He used to buy me something and sat me in the corner of the shop while he and his so-called 'baby' used to have some talk. But my personal feeling is I would never date a girl. It seems like a waste of time and a big responsibility. Or just so I thought.

On my 17th birthday, I invited my friends to a small party at the town's famous café called "Raft Of Relief" which doesn't make any sense cause it will always be noisy with full of people as it is the only one which has good ambiance in the town having only 3 places to eat and we had to wait outside on the sidewalk to get a table. I know 3 people that I consider friends. Ben - who always be on Instagram. when we ask him to stop using social media he uses a common sentence "it's 21st Century mate" every single time, so people stopped asking him to stop. And Liam - Silent one like me and The Nerd they call him at school. Lucas - who is a loud one among us and will always be late for any plans even to the ones we made months ago, and late as usual. We're the Uncool guys in the school and the whole town too maybe. we waited outside the café for a table as well as Lucas. It's a December afternoon with bright sun and cool breezes and it is cool, I put my hands inside my jacket and walked to and forth just to prevent myself from freezing. I looked at the clock tower, it shows 1 PM. As I don't habit of being social media every time, I saw the people going through the empty roads. And there she is!

Walking towards me, looked so pretty with her long hair and sunglasses on her head which stopped her bangs from falling onto her eyes. Oh! those eyes, with black mascara and some glitter only I can see. The black dress perfectly suits her dusky and shining skin and one-inch heels to look taller as she is 5ft 3In. A matching bracelet on her left wrist and a tattoo on her right hand say Music=Peace. I remembered the line from the song "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson that goes; 'She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene'. Yeah, you're right I used to hate MJ because of my brother as it cost me as many as hundreds of hours of sleep, but after a while, I started understanding the lyrics of his songs and I'm his fan in no time. I have never seen her either in school or around in the town. For one moment I was out of breath and wondering who is this girl that stole my heart away for the first look? Lucas came to me saying "hey.. Bro" and smacked me in the stomach pausing my daydream. It hurts but I acted like it didn't just to look strong before my crush. (yep you can start crushing on somebody just after a minute) But I still want to know "The-Beauty-Queen's" name!

"You are late again. What is it this time? Your grandma can not find her Invisalign again?" said Liam

"uh. It's disgusting," said Ben not taking his eyes off the mobile

"Shut up! Milo wanted to take a leak." Said, Lucas

"well she can win a more-times-leaking contest if there is one said Ben putting his mobile into his pocket.

Milo is Lucas's dog. I still remember how he cried on the day his old pet died. He didn't stop crying until his father gets him a new one. At first, he didn't accept but his father said Milo is his dead dog's pup. We all know it's not true. But Lucas is the only one who still believes it.

"Why are you guys still out?" said Lucas turning towards me I didn't hear him for the first time as I am still looking at the new girl who came straight towards us and asked; "Which way is Library?"
