"Stevie."

Stephen jerked up immediately. Staring back at the pair of ocean blue eyes that were looking up at him.

"Stevie." He repeated again. "Why are you crying Stevie? I thought boys with muscles don't cry."

Stephen cried harder and then leaned forward to hug the pale boy in his arms. "I'm sorry." He whispered. "I'm so sorry. I'm such a fool."

Jayson pulled Stephen closer and kissed his cheeks. They tasted salty because of the tears but it was Stephen's so it didn't matter. "Ssh. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have cut myself again. I'm so ashamed." He looked away from Stephen.

Stephen gently brought his face closer to his, so that he could look into those blue eyes again. He wanted to lose himself in those eyes. "There's no need to be ashamed jay."

Jayson gasped softly. And when Stephen looked at him with a question in his eyes, he smiled. "It's been long I l heard someone call my name like that. Nobody calls it like you do." He reached for Stephen's hand.

"Me too. I missed the way you call me Stevie. Many people called me that but it doesn't just sound like you." Stephen tightened his hold on Jayson.
"How do you feel?"

"I ... I feel..." tears welled up in Jayson's eyes. "I'm sorry, I'm so selfish. I didn't even think of how my father will survive it if anything happens to me or how Jayden will keep blaming himself. I'm a terrible person." He cried out.

Stephen cradled him and hummed a tune as the boy cried his eyes out. "It's okay." He said after some time. "They don't hate you and no you're not a terrible person. You were just going through a lot and that was the only solution you could think of, but that's never the best solution. Never think about doing that again." Stephen said in a firm voice and the older nodded.

"I won't. I promise. I've got to apologize to My father, your uncle, my brother, your mom and Elena... oh Elena. I must've scared her."

"She's fine, Elena is fine, she'll be fine if she sees your face."

Jayson nodded and laid his head on Stephen's chest and let the boy rock him to sleep once again.

"I promise. I won't do that again. Please eat something." Jayden stared at the food on the table then stared at his brother.

Jayden had arrived late at night of the same day Jayson had cut himself. He's been blaming himself ever since for what had happened to Jayson.

"I'm so sorry..."

"Okay, that's it. I'm going to ghost you for..."

"Okay okay." He picked up a fork. "I'm eating, look at me."

Jayson nodded and walked out of the room happily. It's been 2 weeks. 2 long weeks. He was doing better and he had a full time job now.  He knocked on the queen's door just as he heard a shrill cry of a baby. Kenedy, that was his full time job. He entered and bowed to the queen before rushing to relieve the tired woman of the crying child.

"Oh my baby." He gently lifted him out and kissed his forehead. "Now now, don't cry anymore. Who's a good boy?"

The baby stopped crying immediately and smiled toothlessly. "Good boy. It's time to wash up. Mom you should get some sleep."

The queen nodded and kissed his forehead before laying on her king sized bed.

Jayson cleaned the boy gently before he wrapped him up in the softest blanket he could find. He heard a knock on the door and soon Stephen came in.

"Hey jay. Stephen leaned down to carry Kenedy in his arms. "Hey big man. How are you doing today?" He rocked the baby gently. "Jay how are you?"

"I'm good." Jayson said blushing slightly. He and Stephen still hadn't talked about what happened with them last three years. "Has he slept?" He asked pointing to Kenedy.
