Lisbeth peeped from the door. "Can I come in?" She admired her daughter who was sitting down and surrounded by court ladies and maids of all sorts, all of them trying to get her ready.

Elena caught sight of her mom and stood up immediately. "Ma!" Her eyes brimmed with tears. "Mama, I was beginning to think you didn't want to come see me."

"Nonsense!" Lisbeth looked into Elena's face and tears rolled down her cheeks. "It's... I can't believe it you know. I've been standing at the door Lena, I couldn't bring myself to come in because...." she wiped her tears. "Oh honey, it's too soon. Yesterday you were just... just a tiny baby and now. You're going to be a wife, a mother. You're going to be a queen!"

"Mom. Please don't cry." Elena hugged her mom tight and kissed her forehead. "Ma please..."

"I'm so scared. I don't want you to go. Oh my baby. I'm going to miss you a lot. I hope I'm not making a mistake by letting you go, oh Lena."

"Mama" Elena cried. She rested her head on her mom's shoulder, not caring if she smudged her make up.

"Oh Lena I bless you. You will birth boys and girls alike. Your lineage is blessed. You'll be the best queen and the best version of yourself." Lisbeth kissed Elena's forehead and hugged her tighter. "I trust you Lena. I trust you."

"Thanks mamá. I love you sooo much. I still don't know how I'll survive without you and Stephen and papa but..."

"You'll do just fine." A hoarse voice said from the door. The court ladies and maids scampered away as Desmond strode into the room.

"You'll do just fine because you're your Mother's daughter."

"Dad? Dad!" Elena ran into his arms and began crying again.

"I can't believe I'm letting you get married this soon, I've barely spent time with you my sweetheart." Desmond held Elena at arms length. "You'll do just fine Lena. Whatever happens know that we love you a lot and we support whatever decision you take. You'll be a great queen Lena."

"Oh God you guys." Stephen cried from the doorway. He ran in and hugged his mom tight. "Please don't cry Lena."

"Oh Stevie." Elena was full on crying now. Her make up was all messed up now. "I don't want to leave you Stevie. I .... I.... no please. I don't want to go anymore."

Stephen hugged his sister tight and shushed her. "Shh, calm down Lena. It's okay. You know we frequent Jayden's kingdom right? That's our second home. We won't be far away from you. And I know you're just nervous. If we stop you from getting married to Jayden today, we're dead meat. You're gonna kill us."

Elena smiled admist her tears. "I love you so much Stevie. I swear I love you." Desmond pulled the both of them in for a hug. He pulled Lisbeth in too and they all hugged each other. That was until they heard baby noises from the door.

They looked up almost simultaneously and burst out laughing at the sight of a very confused Jayson standing there with baby Kenedy in his arms.

"Oh sorry I interrupted. I'll be on my way..." Jayson tried to say.

" oh cut the crap." Lisbeth frowned at Jayson. "Come here baby boy." She pulled Jayson into the hug and they all laughed happily.

"Now let's fix your make up. We can't have you getting married like this." Jayson announced.

"There's a stray strand by the left. Yes that one." Jayson nodded. "She's good to go. Jayden is going to go beserk when he sees you. His jaw is gonna drop." Jayson kissed Elena's forehead softly. "The ceremony already started you know, we took a lot of time making sure you're perfect again. But don't worry you're just in time. I gotta dress up. I'm sure Stevie is waiting for me too." He winked at Elena who smiled gently at him.
