Afternoon with the Avengers

"I got a text this morning, and it looks like we're getting a visit from Fury and Phil just to warn you, so spend the day with the team on the common floor maybe?" Tony says over his morning coffee.

The only reason they are coming, well two reasons, Phil's is to see Clint as they have been busy recently and hadn't had any alone time recently. Fury, well he's heard about Steve and what's going on, I mean it is his job to know everything about his team, and fully agreed with Bucky, and Tony to let Steve off any duties until he's at least 21, as well as back in his older 'mindset'. Let's not forget that if he's now Bucky and Tony's kid then that makes him the same level as Peter, and we'll what started as a joke from Tony, grew in him and now he wants to welcome his new grandchild properly. He may be a feared man but put him in front of his grandchildren and it's a whole different story. Many SHIELD workers were surprised when he turned up to a meeting with Peter on his hip smiling at him as he was being slobbered on not caring at all as he carried his sick grandchild, while Tony was called to an emergency.

"Yeah, that sounds really nice Tones, a day with the team, and Bruce's cooking, do you know what time they're getting here?"

"If I may Sirs, Fury is due to arrive in half an hour. Something about Brunch at 11:30."

"Cheers Jay. Grab the boys and make our way down, I know I'm not in the mood to cook?"

"Yeah, Natasha's waffles sound good. JARVIS tell them we will be down for brunch in a bit." Bucky replies before grabbing Tony's hand and pulling him up down the hallway towards Peter's room.

He's always the easiest to wake up and may already be awake and just watching the tv. This time though he is still fast asleep cocooned in the blankets, the complete opposite of his 'little' brother. Tony was the one to shake his shoulder to wake him up, they once tried stroking his hair, but he just fell further asleep, so they must be a bit rougher for it too actually work.

"Morning Bud, we're going to the common floor for breakfast so it's up to you if you want to get dressed, Steve won't be and probably Clint considering he only got back last night." Bucky filled Peter in after giving him a kiss on the head from where they were doing their morning hug. "Right, we we'll meet you by the elevator in 10 mins."

Steve was a different story; fast asleep in the middle of the bed, legs stretched out as far as they could in the bag making him look like a frog, and Leroy tucked securely under his chin. They would both laugh at his position if he wasn't so damn cute. He is also a nightmare to wake up, or if he wakes up by himself tears are involved.

"Wakie, wakie Baby, where are those baby blues at. Oh, there they are, already to face the day." Tony coos.

It wasn't long till the grabby hands and wet eyes arrived, stopped by Tony hauling him up onto his hip and swaying around the room, only stopping to grab the lion and blanket off the bed. Tony could tell from patting his butt that the pull up he is wearing is slightly wet. Bucky soon caught on and went to retrieve another one out of the bathroom just for precaution. They weren't getting him dressed so only laid him on the bed and stripped him down before replacing the pull up with another Lion King one and replacing his pyjamas again, as well as his sack once they noticed him shivering.

Peter was stood by the elevator when they arrived, still clad in his pyjamas and playing on his Switch waiting. The family of four soon arrived for brunch with one wide awake child ready to play, mainly with Clint and another child cuddled close to Bucky's chest with a lion tucked between them. Not everyone had arrived yet; only Natasha and Bruce, who were cooking and Clint, who was drinking coffee at the island. Peter ran over to hug everyone once the doors were fully opened, starting with Bruce and finishing with Clint, before sitting in Clint's lap showing him something on his Switch.
