Unwanted

The Monarch

I left the conversation to go explore more since Bell was busy arguing. I walk beyond the trees further into the forest looking for something that catches my eye. I didn't realize how far away I traveled until I found a waterfall. I stared at it in awe. Back on the ark we had nothing like this. Everything was limited, baths, drinks, handwashing and even breathing. The ground was a whole new experience for them, but mostly to her. She never had anything that most kids had on the ark since she was locked up for most of her life. She never had the luxury that most did of free will, but it was all different because now she did.

I took off my clothes till I was left in my undergarments and went into the water. It felt like nothing she ever experienced. I stayed in the water till I started to get cold and the sun started to disappear. I put my clothes on and started my journey back. When i got back to where we landed I was met with an angry Bellamy.

"Where the hell were you?!" he asked angrily.
"Please calm down cowbell, I went exploring." I replied with a smirk knowing he hated that nickname.
"First, you know I hate that name. Second, you don't know what's out there you could've been hurt. I can't have you getting hurt." he said worriedly.
"I'm sorry Bell," I apologized. "I just wanted to explore and I found a waterfall and just had to feel that on my skin. Where'd O go?" I asked, noticing the absence of my energetic twin.
"O went with Clarke and a group to go get food from mount weather."
" I thought we were on mount weather?" I asked confused.

"No, they dropped us on the wrong mountain."She finally shakes her head and walks to find John. She found him carving a phrase into the stone.

"You obviously failed spelling on the ark" Gwen joked.

"Doll, the only reason I failed is because my good luck charm wasn't there"

"So you failed because of me?" She laughed. John nodded. He walked up to her and put his arm around her.

"I missed you, you know." He stated sadly.

"It's the chancellors fault. If he only realized women don't try to get pregnant when they know they can't keep it. It wasn't her fault. She never asked for it. Men just suck, J. Then when she realized she was pregnant she was too Rouen to abort. So she went to Abby and confided in her. Then somehow the chancellor found out. I got separated and Octavia got hidden."

"I'm sorry, Doll" he hugged her. His chin resting on top her head. "Life screwed us over, Doll"

"Indeed it did." She smiled sadly.

Wells interrupts them. "You spelled die wrong"
Then John's minions come and start to bicker with Wells. Suddenly Bell joins the bickering and Gwen shakes her head and walks away. She goes back to adventuring the great outdoors. She walks up the steep hills enjoying the fresh air, the green so green she didn't know that color existed. She was purely in awe. She saw the flowers she could only imagine of. The pinks and purples so pigmented she was amazed. She then stopped all she was doing. She was speechless. There was a creature so small it looks fake. It's orange and yellow painted wings spotted with black. If she moved the slightest Gwen was afraid it would fly away. She held her breath.

Suddenly, a hand was placed over her mouth startling her. The butterfly, frightened, flew away. She kicked and tried to scream as she didn't know what was going on. Then everything went black as she was hit on the head.

Gwen woke up and her head was pounding. She looked around and was confused about where she was. The green trees and blue skies weren't around anymore. The walls were rock and it looked like she was in a cave. No one was around but her wrists were tied. She started to panic. What happened? Where is she? Would Bell and O realize she's missing? She's not sure what to do. She looked around not finding anyone there. She tried to move but suddenly a man came in and pushed her back towards the wall.

"You come plan war!" He accused.
"No! That's the last thing I want!" She pleaded.
"Then why are you here roaming around?"
"I was only exploring"
"Wait till Heda hears about you child!"
"I'm not a child!"

Suddenly a woman barges in. Her long blonde locks shimmed in the light that barely came through the little Cave. Her face looked stern covered in paints but her eyes were kind. Her stance showed power.

"This is the girl?" She asked curiously.
"Yes. She was the one found wondering our land" the man replies.
Gwen scoffs. "You sound like you are some kind of royal "
"You do not talk to Heda like that!"
"He- what now?" She questioned "Do you guys not speak English?" She questioned. He gave me a look as if telling me to shut up.
"You will have respect "he ordered. The woman waved him away as she approached me.
"Where did you come from? "She asked almost caring.
"My siblings and friends came here today. We are from the sky "she says shyly. The Heda intimidates the brown haired girl.
"You are Skaikru? How did you come down here? Why are you on our land?" Heda asked.
"First off Lady, one question at a time. Yes, I guess I am from the sky. Second we came down with a spaceship thing. Lastly, this is where we ended up but we were supposed to be dropped on the other mountain. Now what does Heda mean?" Gwen asked frustrated.
"Heda means commander in Trigedasleng." Heda explains.
"So you are there battle leader?" Gwen questioned.
"Yes" she answered. "But my name is Anya" she smiles.
"Anya, that's a beautiful name. I'm Gwen."
"What a lovely nam, however I can't let you return yet. Your leader has to come to me." She stated.
"You are in luck Anya. I don't even know how to get back."
"Follow me, I'll show you where you can sleep and stay"
