Kiritos P.O.V

I was floating. In an unknown place. White clouds swarmed around me, and a sky that looked like pink cotton candy laid above me. I looked to my right and was met by the sun shining brightly in my face. I shaded my eyes from the bright light, but they were soon shaded when the sun set in the west.

The second Kirito really... Scared me... What he said reminded scared me. I always had this thought back in the original SAO. Actually, I have had it recently.

Sometimes, I think that people fear me. Back in SAO, barely anyone who knew who I actually was, The Black Swordsman, wanted to talk to me. In fact, they never wanted to encounter me outside of a safe zone, in fear of me killing them. At least thats what it felt like. It was before I knew Asuna very well. I remember....

*FLASHBACK*

"Teleport, Coral" I yelled.

A bright white flash appeared before me as I was enveloped into a bright blue wave of tiny pixels.

I looked down and closed me eyes, and when I re-opened them, I was standing on the teleport gate of the floor called Coral. I remember the boss fight that I fought in on this floor. It seemed so long ago. Now, we are working on clearing floor 64.

The town of coral was a quaint place. I remember the bread shop that I found here. It wasn't any ordinary bread shop owned by some NPC. It was own by a player with the highest cooking skill I knew. Her bread was really sweet, and warm everytime I picked it up, even though I had been sitting in my inventory for a while. I still don't know how she had been able to do that.

I walked through the town to try to remember where the bakery was at. The middle of the town was beautiful. All of the building were built out of wood, and made the town give you a nice homey feeling. The town welcomed me everytime I came, begging me to live there. The houses were too big here though, they could all easily fit a family of 4.

I went through many twists and turns until I finally ran into the shop. The wooden sign hanging from its roof read "Floria's Bakery and Soup". I could never forget their soup either, but you had to eat it there, or else its durability would wear out within 2 hours.

I stepped in, and the sweet aroma of the bread filled my lungs, and I took a deep breath in.

"Hey Kirito!" I heard a voice call my name.

I looked to the cash register to see a girl named Floria. "Hey Floria. It's been a while since I've seen you." I walked up the the counter and shook her hand. She shook mine too, but seemed very awakward about it. I blushed, realizing how awakward I was. I never really socialize in SAO, so I tend to be awakward sometimes...

"Well, anyways, what brings you to town?" She asked me.

"I just wanted to pick up some of your bread while I was here, but I needed to talk to a info broker that lives in town about something... Anyways, what bread do you have today?"

She looked at me with a bright smile, her blonde hair falling in front of her face.

"Well, I have my special today, which is the sweet bread made of sour dough. I remember that you liked it!" She said, showing her menu board.

"Ill take 12 dozen loafs of tha then please."

"You've got it!" She flicked her wrist and sent a money tranfer request. I pressed the yes button, and I saw the inventory button flash a sign that meant that something has been added into my inventory.

"Thanks! Well, I'll be on my way." I said turning around.

"Wait!" She yelled, and grabbed my hand.

I turned around to look at her, and her whole body was on the couter, leaning towards me. I looked down, and immediately blushed at what I saw. I shook her hand away, and stood up straught.

"Yeah?" I tried to say casually, looking at the corner of the room. She stood up straight.

"I was going to tell you that this new house was built, and I thought you might want to go check it out. Everyone has been talking about it, but no one has the money for it. Maybe you should go check it out? It's right on the big lake on this floor." She said. It must be really nice.

"Ok, will do. I have to get to that meeting now. Thanks." I said, waving good-bye.

........................

The meeting went by quickly, the infro broker knew the answer to my question, which was all I needed.

I decided to go check out the house Floria was talking about. I opened up my map on my menu, and scrolled around, looking for a large body of water. I found on, and it was huge. Next to it was a small brown blob, which I assumed was the house.

I sighed, and started walking.

..........................

The forest leading to the house was huge. I felt as if I was lost, even though according to the map, I wasn't. My search skill was activated, which was maxed out at level 1000. This gave me night vision, and if I squinted, I could see farther, and see a players foot print. I could also detect a player hiding, even if they were crouching. I didn't want to be ambushed, even thought high level players rarely hang around low level floors.

I saw a warning signal, which meant a player was nearby. I squinted and searched for any player nearby. I saw a giant tree, and there was a player crouching behind it.

"Who every is hiding, come out now." I said, withdrawing my sword from my back.

"Please... don't kill me... Blackswords Man." I raised and eyebrow. The voice came from a girl.

"I won't kill you if you show yourself." I stated. There are girls in the player killer groups too. Their usually used as bait.

She stepped out of hiding, and i stepped back. Her eyes were bloodshot red, and her brown hair was a mess. "Please... Don't kill me..."

I put my sword back, and took a step towards her. "I'm not going to kill you. Just calm down, and I can get you back to a safe zone."

She looked up to me, and put her hands over her belly. "I can't... Please don't kill me..." She repeated.

She fell backwards, and I ran to catch her. I caught her, but when she looked up at me, she immediately shrieked.

"No! Please don't kill me..." She sighed, and pushed herself up.

"I am too scared now..." She said. She pulled something from her waistband. It was a knife.

"If you aren't going to kill me... I will kill myself..."

"Wait, what are you doing!" She pulled the dagger, and thrust it into herself.

I ran to catch her, but it was too late. She disappeared into tiny blue and white pixels, ending her life.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

That's why I felt like people feared me when they gave me weird looks. I always tried to brush the thought away, but as the thought came to me more, the fear kept on growing.

My family always helped me know that this fear wasn't real. Asuna and Yui...

When I was in the... Simulation I guess? I felt this horrible feeling when Yui kept disappearing. I never want to loose Yui. Yui made my life so much better back in SAO. She always made me smile, and made Asuna and I closer. She still does today. That's why that is one of my fears. I never want to loose Yui. I lost Asuna once, and that was horrible. Never again will that happen, nor will that happen with Yui.

Never.
