It's been about a week since I last saw the boys. I hung out with them the day after we had first met and it was wonderful. I've noticed that since my song blew up I haven't really had much time to spend with my friends... and laugh. I've never laughed so much. Last week they were just setting up for the shows and getting everything ready. This weekend is the start to the tour.
Honestly, I consider some of them, especially Cam, my friends now. They were so so easy to get along with and I wanted to spend as much time with them as possible. As I walked into the hotel, I noticed a lot of girls around. I flipped up the hood of my sweatshirt and headed up the elevator. I walked down the familiar hallway, down to Cams room. I gave the door a hard knock and - to my surprise - Shawn opened the door. He looked taken back. He has on a why are you here look, but just for a millisecond. Then he looked down at the floor and quietly said, "we switched rooms, he's two doors down now." I apologies then went on my way down to Cams actual room.
Cam came bursting out, then he noticed me walking and screamed "Mariana!"
I loved the way his smiled brightened up when he saw me. I wasn't needy or anything. But I liked the way Cam wanted me to be around.
"We're going out to breakfast! You should come with us!" Cam continued, gesturing to Matt and Nash who followed him out of his room.
I checked down at my watch, which read 12:43. Cam smiled guiltaly, knowing that I was judging him for just waking up now.
"There's a place near by that has breakfast all day!" Nash explained eagerly.
"Oh, what the heck, I could go for another breakfast!" I responded.
We took the elevator down to the ground level so we could walk out a side door. It was actually pretty smart, so I was certain that management let the boys know about the exit, rather than them finding the "hack" on their own. We got into Cam's car. I took shotgun and I became fixated on Cam while he drove. His eyes were so dark and twitched as he watched the road. His jaw clenched and his adams apple moved as he spoke. Everything about him looked, well, perfect. When I felt I was looking to long, my eyes panned around the car to make sure none of the guys noticed. Matt gave me a stupid smirk and I just rolled my eyes and faced back towards the road. My face flushed.
"So how did y'all get so close so quickly?" I asked, breaking the silence once we were sat at our table.
"It was easy for us three." Matt said referring to Cam and Nash, "We're all so similar and around the same age. We just kinda connect with one another."
"Yeah," Cam said in agreement, "but other people on the tour we just don't click with."
"Like Shawn?" I ask
"Yeah, but he's just younger and quiet. Why do you care for Shawn?"
I was quite taken back by Cams, almost, snarky question about Shawn. "I don't." I answer defensively. "He just seems alone a lot you know and in such a pissy mood all the time."
"He's a singer." Cam said, "He thinks he's better than us because he's famous for a real thing not just fooling around."
The more I learned about Shawn the less appreciation I had for him. He just kinda seemed like someone who couldn't enjoy something that was right in front of him.
"He's not that bad of a guy." Matt butt-in, "Cam's only saying that because you called him hot the other day."
"That's not true at ALL." Cam laughed. "Shawn's not a bad guy, I never said that. He just thinks he's above us. Like he's too mature for our foolishness."
Matts comment made me blush, just like before in the car. But what Cam had said about Shawn seemed to line up with the way he acted after we barely spilled that stuff on the carpet. We are kids. We're supposed to stain hotel room floors. You know... make mistakes.
Me and Cam were now back in his room, alone. I loved hanging out with Matt and Nash, but sometimes they get in my way. I was sitting on his bed watching him at the end, typing away on his computer.
"So..." I said slowly, hoping to gain Cam's attention. He gave me a What? type of look, with his eye brows raised and his eyes tilted to the side so they were on me. "Were you really jealous that I called Shawn hot?"
He gave me a long drawn out "noo" which told me he was lying and wanted me to know it. He slowly inched closer to me.
"Oh yeah? I don't believe you." I said flirtatiously.
"And why's that?" He continued to move closer, moving his laptop of his lap.
"Because I think you want me to think you're hot."
"Well, do you?" Cam was only a few centimeters away. I was trying my best to keep my heart rate steady and my breaths normal, but I couldn't.
I started to lean in. Cam pulled back a bit, but I followed. He was teasing me. He wanted me to want him more. I shook my head, grabbed the back of his neck and whispered, "come here." I pulled him in and his hands wrapped around my body. He threw one leg over me and we moved in sync. His chest ran across mine and I worked my hands down to his abdomen. He lightly moved my face to the side, planting gentle kisses starting right below my ear. Once he traveled down to my collarbone, he started to suck hard. It felt so good and I let out a little moan before I moved my hands back up to his face, forcing it so he was looking at me.
"We should stop, I don't wanna go too far too fast." I said looking into his deep brown eyes that were full of lust.
Cam nodded and slowly sat up. "Sorry," he spoke softly.
It was cute that he wanted to apologize, but he didn't have to. I leaned in and gave him a quick kiss to show him that he didn't need to apologize for anything.
