Scenario #1: (OC) had a rough upbringing, but was taken in by (Villain Crush). They didn't necessarily agree, but since they cared, they didn't oppose. However, they were saved by (Hero Crush), and taken in. They were protected, and given a new start. They finally got close to (Hero Crush), but then (Villain Crush) and their team arrives, coming to bring (OC) home. And now (OC) has to make a deadly choice.
Scenario #2: Scenario #1 but (OC) and (Hero/Villain Crush) are swapped.
