I was home in my bed relaxing when I got a call from Zac saying to come to the Cafe making me groan. I changed my clothes and went to the Cafe.
Walking to the docks, I spotted Cam and Zac so I walked up to them.
".... you have to pull anyone out of the water." I heard Cam say as I look them over to see they are in their life guard uniforms.
"That's my point. How can I do surf patrol when I can't even go in the water?" Zac pouted making me smile at his cute face.
"Well for one, you can stop stressing." I told him as I took the seat next to him and sat.
"Yeah, she's right. Lets just get through today." Cam stated before sliding over his plate.
"Yeah, then what?" Zac asked raising a brow but neither Can or I was bothering to answer as Cam grabbed his plate of food and I took his drink. "You guys aren't helping."
"You don't know what this is. It could be like a 24-hour flu." Cam spoke after he swallowed the food in his mouth.
"Its not a 24-hour flu Cam. Or did you forget that I'm a mermaid with more experience than him?" I sarcastically asked him and he rolled his eyes.
"You have to make the most of it. Its like an incredible gift, you cam share with people. For money." Cam smirked at Zac while I glared at him before sporting my glare to Zac.
"If you even think about it I will turn you into a popsicle." I death glared the boy making him which uncomfortably.
"I'm not gonna be some kind of freak show."
"Zac, the cash benefits here could be tremendous. I'd take a small percent." Cam says and I fairly smiled at him.
"I knew there was a reason I didn't like you." I sarcastically smiled getting a glare from Cam and a chuckle from Zac. "The first thing that comes to your mind is to make money off of Zac. Colors me shock that I haven't heard your input about me yet."
"Kinda scared about saying my input, I mean you can literally freeze and make things hot. Can you really blame me?" Cam questioned and I stared at him blankly.
"Yes because if you are really scared to say things to me then you should be scared to say things that can cost Zac his life." I glared at him before Zac placed his hand on my thigh and rubbed circles on my thigh with his thumb, calming me down.
"You just don't get it. This is really happening to me!" Zac says before scoffing and leaning back in his chair.
"I will melt you if something happens to Zac because of you, jackass." I gave Cam a glare before taking Zac's hand off of my thigh and standing up before walking away from them and back home.
Instead of going home, I go to the beach where Zac and Cam are life guarding.

I placed a sheet on the ground before laying down and grabbing my book from my bag that I brought with me to read.
Looking across from me, I see Zac cleaning his surf board before waving at somebody so I look and see who he is waving at, and, no surprise, it was Cam. I turned back my attention to my book but not only a few seconds later I hear Zac's voice.
"What are you reading?" I look up at Zac for a moment before turning back to my book.
"A book called Cosmic Chaos." I told him as he sat next to me. "Shouldn't you be paying attention to other things that aren't me?"
"Well, yeah but I did that in the water. Now..." I heard Zac sigh making me close my book and turn to him.
"Look Zac, I get it, but its not going to get easier if you just mope around all the time. You might be restricted to certain things but that doesn't mean that you still can't have fun." I told him and he nodded. "Good, now can you be the amazing boyfriend you are and go get me a water please?" I gave him my best puppy dog eyes and he chuckled before getting up and going over to the cooler.
I few minutes go by and I feel this sudden gust of wind blow by and I turn my head to see the girls making me furrow my eye brows.
Placing my book down, I get up and walk over to them.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I ask them while folding my arms and they all immediately stand up.
"I, um, we..." Sirens stutters making me roll my eyes.
"Well?" I raise a brow and tap my arms with my fingers.
"Look, land girl, we are trying to turn things back to normal so if you please." The unknown girl says and I glare at her but she doesn't pay me any mind and turns to Zac. "Now I'll intensify it." She says before sending another wave towards him but before I could stop it Zac jumps out of the chair and runs to the water making me alert. "What's he doing?".
" Help!" I hear a little girl scream and I look towards the water to see a girl about to drown.
"Oh my gawd!" I gasp before running towards the water.
"Help, mommy!"
"Oh no! Hold on! Please hurry!" The mother says to Zac as he rushes into the water.
Zac gets to the girl and she sees his tail. He pushes the girl towards us and the mother runs to her.
Cam comes over and questions the mother as I stand behind him.
"He did what?" Cam looks at me and I nod before looking around for Zac but I don't see him.
"There he is!" I hear the girls mother say and I turn around to see Zac coming over with a smile.
"Hes a fish. He had a tail." The little girl claims with a bratty tone making me roll my eyes.
Kids now a days are so ungrateful.
"No, I just kick really fast." Zac corrected her with a lie making me shake my head.
"All that matters is that you are safe and not drowning." I told the girl with a fake smile.
"She's right. Thank you so much." The mother thanks Zac and he nods.
"You went in the water?" Cam asks and I roll my eyes.
"Well obviously."
"You getter get that ice where its needed." Zac reminds the boy about the ice and he nods before walking away.
"Good one Zac. Nice work." Mick says standing next to Zac.
