Charlie sat comfortably on the couch and waited for her uncle who was still asleep. She had a key to the house and her uncle said she could come over whenever she wanted. Which she did. This wasn't the first time that Charlie showed up unannounced at her uncle's and it wasn't the last time either. But she hoped her uncle was aware that she was in LA. In the end, she and her friends have posted enough about it.
After half an hour her uncle finally came down the stairs. He walked past the living room in the hallway, he didn't even notice Charlie, he walked on to the kitchen and got a juice from the fridge. Charlie got up from the couch and walked into the kitchen "Good morning to you too." She said and sat down on a chair by the kitchen island.
"Yeah Yeah. Good morning." her uncle said, he still hadn't looked at Charlie. Charlie held up her hands, she was confused. Samuel turned around and saw his niece sitting across from him. "Holy shit! What are you doing here? "
"I wanted to visit my old man." Charlie explained while she shrugged with laughter.
"In L.A. What are you doing in LA?" he asked excitedly while running to hug his niece.
"I told you I was going to visit some friends."
"You didn't say you were visiting her in LA though."
"Didn't you even check insta, we only post about it."
"Oh, come here." Samuel told his niece. And they hugged again.
