Los Angeles, CA, USA  10 a.m 17th December 2020

Charlie and her friends from Los Angeles had a lovely 2 weeks. They were partying, drinking, surfing, picnicking and ect... Rudy and Charlie also had time for themselves a few times, but no one has made the first step yet. Charlie should fly back home in 2 days.

She woke up at 11 a.m. but neither Chase nor Rudy nor Madelyne were awake so she decided to go down to the beach.... Just walk a little to clear her head.

Rudy immediately started walking towards the pier, picturing all the possibilities why Charlie had asked him here. It might just be to hang out. He hated seeing her upset he always wanted to help her.

Charlie played with her fingers while she was up
sat on a bench and stared at the sea. When she heard footsteps approaching, she glanced at the blond boy walking towards her. Rudy read the girl's face as he approached her. She looked upset about something, but about what? "Hey." he sat next to her.

"Hi." She murmured with a small innocent smile. Rudy held her in his arms hoping it would make her feel better. She hugs him back and rests her head on his shoulder.

The hug was just what she needed. "What are you thinking about?" he pulls away from her to look at her.

"I don't want to leave." she murmurs, playing along
the bracelet on Rudy's wrist even though she had the same one on hers. She knew that once she got back to her apartment everything would go back to normal, which is exactly what she doesn't want.

"I don't want you to leave either." Rudy watches her warily as she plays with his bracelet. He really didn't want her to leave. Ever since the day she arrived two weeks ago, he dreaded the day she would be back would have to go.

"I'm sorry" Charlie shook her head in embarrassment, she continued to watch the waves.

"What for?" Rudy scooted closer to her, frowning. Charlie had a habit of apologizing whenever she talked about her feelings. He liked every part of Charlie, but that one habit was something he didn't favor. "i'm here for you. you can talk to me. what's wrong?" Rudy awkwardly scratched the back of his neck.
