The New Gang

New moves

I got back from training with basically. It wasn't that bad. He wouldn't tell me anything about his life though. Must've been bad.

" Delirious. How was it?" Vanoss says.
"I learned allot surprisingly." I say and earned a punch on the arm from basically.
" Good. Now have you decided whether your going to stay or not?". He says. I shrug.
" Yeah i guess i could." I say. I could see his eyes widen from excitement.
" Good. Let me show your room cause you're definitely not staying in mine." He says.

I follow him to a smaller room that had a desk,a bed, a walk in closet, and a beautiful view of the city.
" Hope you like it." He says.
" It's beautiful." I say.
" Good. I'm gonna call the rest of the gang over so you can meet them." He says. I nod and he leaves. I lay on my bed and stare at the beautiful city for a bit. It's hard to believe that just a day ago i was attempting to do a suicidal mission. I should probably go thank Vanoss for practically saving my life.

I got up and walked to the door. When i opened it i saw Vanoss standing there with his first in the air. I'm assuming he was about to knock.

" Um... yo?" I said.
" Uh... hey.... listen um... the guys will be here soon so you should come out here and get ready." He said.

I nod and follow him out. I guess i can thank him later. I hope i don't forget. I tend to do that allot. It's just a bad habit with me. I should work on that. I'll probably forget about it in the next-

" Delirious? Have you come back to earth yet?" I hear Vanoss say.

I blink a bit and look at him. I nod to him. He tilts his head to the side in a ' I'm confused' way. I'm guessing he lost interest because he went to check his phone.

" Looks like they're gonna be late. I guess traffic is a bitch right now."
He says.
" When isn't it?" I say. He chuckled and put his phone away. He then looked at me. Now's a better time than any.

" Hey Vanoss? I need to tell you something." I start. He nods telling me to continue.

" Well, i just wanted to say thanks for saving me back there the other day. Without you I'd be dead by now. I honestly think that there is no way to repay you." I say sighing at the end.

" Any guy who is stupid enough to blow up an armored truck in the middle of an intersection deserves to be in this gang." He says.

I cross my arms at him. " To be honest, that wasn't my intention. Everything was going smoothly until the cops appeared way to quick." I say defending myself.

He chuckled and shook his head. " Whatever you say Delirious. And for repaying me, we'll talk about that later." He says. I can tell by the tone in his voice that he is smirking. Don't ask me how i can tell. I just can.

All of a sudden my face started burning up. I didn't consciously know why for a bit. Then it hit me. I just thought of me 'repaying' Vanoss if you catch my drift.

I come back to my sense to see Vanoss just staring at me.

" I'm gonna drown you. I'm gonna drown you like a sack of dumb puppies." He says out of no where. It takes me a second but i get the reference and continue with it.

" Why would you drown puppies!?" I say.
" Cause they're cute and cudly." He says back to me.
" A-are you coming on to me?"

We both start laughing our asses off. I've got to admit, Vanoss is a pretty good guy. I think we are gonna be great friends.
